Super Hotel Okayama Station Higashiguchi has accommodations in Okayama near Shimoishii Park and Momotaro Statue. They were happy to store our luggage for us from 7.30am of the day we were checking in. Checkout process was non existent, you just shut your door and left. There is a free drinks (including cocktails, spirits, wine) happy hour which lasts 6pm to 9pm, self serve. Breakfast was included in the price and was extensive and delicious. It was close to the train station. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Instead of being available in your room, there was a supply area in reception where you could freely stock up on whatever you needed in the way of toiletries, tea/coffee bags, extra pillows and towels.

Located in downtown Okayama, ANA Crowne Plaza Okayama offers comfortable and bright rooms with free WiFi, only 2-minute walk from JR Okayama Station West Exit. Very easy to find a short walk from the station on a traffic-free walkway. Check in simple and reception staff friendly and helpful. Room itself was ideally suited to our needs and extremely clean and comfortable with excellent views of the city (we were on 18th floor) with all necessary amenites. Couldn't really find a fault although the plain glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom came as a bit of a surprise - there was a blind however which we could lower.

Located a 10-minute walk from JR Okayama Train Station, Hotel Maira provides rooms with free Wi-Fi/wired internet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They also spoke perfect English. The room and the bed were very clean and comfy. They also have hot drinks in the lobby. It is located near Okayama station and it is also very close to a mall.

Just a 5-minute walk from JR Okayama Train Station, Okayama Koraku Hotel offers modern rooms with free wired internet and a flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy massages and free-use bicycles. This twin room was one of the biggest we had during our stay in Japan and it was extremely comfortable and well located.

Directly connected to JR Okayama Station, Granvia Okayama is a 15-minute train ride from Kurashiki. As the hotel was attached to the train station, Shinkansen stop, tram stop, and bus terminal, access to transportation was fantastically convenient. The hotel is classy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, as one would expect in a high end Japanese hotel. Within a short walk is a mall with two entire floors of restaurants, and that's not counting the food court. The station is also well equipped with dining options, a grocery store, and two convenience stores. Nearby is a DonQi, an Animate/Lashingbang, and a very large BIC Camera, with other large stores within a 1km walk or short tram ride. It's easy to meet people at various landmarks in and around the hotel, including the Momotaro statue. The rooms are amazing; unusually large, if a bit dated, and ours had a beautiful view of the station and the surrounding area, with mountains in the distance. Day trips via Shinkansen to places like Himeji, Onomichi, etc., are painless.

Attractively set in the Kita Ward district of Okayama, Dormy Inn Okayama Natural Hot Spring is located a 2-minute walk from Nishigawa Canal Park, 200 yards from Okayama Baptist Church and a 5-minute... love dormy inns and this one was great … comfortable clean and the onsen was brilliant one of the nicest hotel ones I had with an outdoor area. would definitely recommend this place Okayama made an excellent base for 5 nights with the JR pass I could easily get to Hiroshima, Naoshima, kibi plains and Kurishki. this region was fantastic and the dormy inn a great place to explore from as an easy walk to the JR station.
