Featuring a fitness centre, a terrace as well as a bar, Hotel Calimala is located in the centre of Florence, 800 metres from Santa Maria Novella. Rooms are absolutely gorgeous. I love the center door knobs. This was our best hotel stay in italy (we stayed in 4 different ones). Unfortunately i caught the intestinal flu while we were in florence and it was horrible, i had to stay at the hotel basically the entire time. So I was grateful that at least the room was lovely. The staff were so helpful when we got there, showed us around the room and explained pretty much everything. They gave us a bunch of free waters as well. I had a good view of the duomo from my bed that i admired (in between puke sessions + it was the only thing to look at)

This former Augustine convent of the 13th century is set beside the Uffizi Gallery, facing Florence's Ponte Vecchio. The roof garden with bar offers views of the Cathedral. Great staff, clean rooms, nice bathroom, great breakfast in a fantastic room. Staff is best in Florence. Cleaning of cloths possible.

Hotel Balestri faces the Arno River in Florence city centre. Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery are 400 metres away. It features a roof terrace with lovely city views. everything. staff went out of their way to help with tours, taxis, even providing an iron for our clothes every morning

Staying in such an incredibly beautiful historical building that has been restored in a stunning way, it is an once-in-a-lifetime experience. The staff is very polite, helpful and friendly. Probably the best hotel in Florence!

It was by far the best hotel stay in the whole of Italy. The service, quality, location, and everything else were just exceptional. All staff, from the porters, check-in staff, room service, and cleaning attendants, are friendly and helpful. You can see that the owners of this hotel group care about their team and treats them well. The rooms are luxurious and in perfect condition. Everything works and whatever you need is just a phone call away. The location is in the heart of Florence. I would come back to Italy, just to stay at Portrait again.

San Firenze Suites & Spa is overlooking historic Piazza San Firenze, just 100 metres from Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery. The room was a good size and a The staff were very helpful and friendly and the bed was very comfortable it was in a fantastic location

In a prime location in Florence, Casual Rinascimento Firenze provides a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything was perfect! Location is perfect. It's near the most important areas to visit in Firenze. You can walk few meters and be in the middle of important strees and historical areas. Very quiet place. The facilities are very well maintained and clean. The room has very good space, it's clean and it's very well equipped. The staff is very well trained in helping find everything you need to spend a good time. Friendly and kind. It's OK if you go with children. The breakfast is good with many alternatives and choices. Check in and check out very fast. I didn't use the pool & spa area but looks so nice.
