Yakın zamanda yenilenen bu güzel otel, şehir merkezindedir. Ünlü Piazza Grande'nin bulunduğu tarihi Locarno kent merkezi ve Maggiore Gölü kenarındaki gezinti yeri yakındır. Klimalı olmasını, duşakabin olması,kettle ve buzdolabı olması, kahvaltı dahil olması, kahvaltı çok güzeldi.

Yüzyılın başından kalma bir villada yer alan Hotel Alexandra, Locarno şehir merkezine sadece 10 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindedir. Burada Akdeniz mutfağından yemekler servis edilmektedir. My daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights and were very pleased with it. The room was very clean and comfortable and the AC worked extremely well which was very welcome after long hot days out exploring. It is situated in a great location with many shops and restaurants as well as Lago Maggiore in walking distance. The gentleman working there was exceedingly friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and that everything was to our liking. The breakfast was delicious and we were very well attended to for that as well!

Everything!the hosts: Cinzia and Nadia were exceptionally friendly and helpful. the communication was easy and quick. we were travelling with our son and when we came to the hotel , we were very pleasantly surprised that our room was upgraded for a bigger one free of charge. we were also given a code for an online Ticino ticket that allows you to use public transport free of charge and get discounts at most sights. the location: is great -a 5-7-minute walk to the lake and to the main square.it also takes about 5-7 minutes to walk to the funicular Orselina, to cable cars and chair lifts Cardada-Cimetta. breakfast : breakfast was tasty , homemade by hosts, with good coffee and different options. rooms: simple but exceptionally clean , with all the basics you need and with a coffee machine in the room. all in all the hotel is a very cosy place with a home-like atmosphere created by the hosts. Definitely a place we would come back to when we travel to Ticino again.

Hotel la Palma au Lac is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. All rooms provide a TV, a safe and a private bathroom. The hotel was an easy walk from the station- when you walk down the short hill to the lake side it’s worth crossing the road and walking along the lake. The gardens are gorgeous. The staff on reception, Gian and a lovely young woman whose name I didn’t get, were superb - welcoming & knowledgeable about Locarno. I was early, and Gian phoned me when my room was ready. The views were superb - it’s worth paying for a lakeside balcony room, although a tad exie. The breakfast was generous with a wide selection, even for vegetarians - a bonus was the outdoor terrace. The steam room and sauna were very well appointed. The jacuzzis had a wonderful aspect with views over the lake, although I found them overly chlorinated - certainly not a negative, but personal preference. It was a short walk to the ferries. Make sure you ask for the Ticino visitors pass - free buses & trains within the Canton & some limited ferry services and good discounts on the the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso sanctuary (you can walk up and/or down - many steep stairs - I walked down) and the adjoining cable car/chair lift to Alpe Cardada/Cimetta, both of which I recommend. Fabulous view to Monte Rosa and some good hiking. Lake swimming is accessible almost right in front of the hotel - the water clarity is wonderful and many species of water birds. The old town around the Piazza Grande was a treat as well, although it was very hot and they were setting up for a music festival.

Locarno Tren İstasyonu'nun karşısında, Piazza Grande'ye 10 dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde yer alan 19. location near all main transit modes - train, bus, boat. location near Grand Plaza and Old Town Elegant, solid building with character. High celelings! Large windows. Room perfect for one person. Full bath (however, no shower mat - slippery.)

Locarno'da, Piazza Grande Locarno'ya 700 metre mesafede yer alan Villa Rossella'da teras, sigara içilmeyen odalar, bar ve tüm alanlarda ücretsiz WiFi erişimi mevcuttur. Lovely family apartment at the top of the villa, well equipped new and clean.Good breakfast with coffee or tea or juice choices. Staff very friendly and nice.

Muralto'da yer alan Miralago Locarno Easy Rooms, Maggiore Gölü kıyısındaki gezinti yoluna sadece 50 metre, Locarno'nun merkezine 500 metre ve limana 200 metre mesafededir. Konumu harikaydı. Biz interrail yaptığımız için tren istasyonuna yakın olması önceliğimizdi, ki gerçekten çok yakındı. Aynı şekilde göl kenarında yürüyüş yapmak ya da şehrin içinde gezmek için de konumu oldukça iyiydi. Her yere yürüyerek gidebilmek tam bir keyif. Odamız çok temizdi. Otel görevlisi güleryüzlü ve çok nazik bir beyefendiydi, bize her sorumuzda çok yardımcı oldu. Şehrin içinde kullanmak üzere tüm ulaşım araçlarında geçerli bir kod verdi, onun sayesinde Madonna teleferiğine indirimli bindik hatta. Ayrıca seyahatimizin son günü sırt çantalarımızı check in'den sonra bir kaç saat daha tutmak istedik, bizi kırmadı ve yardımcı oldu. Bir dahaki sefer Locarno'ya geldiğimizde kesinlikle tekrar burada konaklayacağız.

Maggiore Gölü kıyısındaki gezinti yolu üzerinde yer alan Hotel Geranio Au Lac, Locarno Tren İstasyonu'na ve şehir merkezine sadece 100 metre mesafededir. Otelde açık büfe kahvaltı servis edilmektedir.... I love this hotel. I've stayed twice, once as a solo traveler and once with my sister, visiting me from the USA. The hotel is in an amazing location, with the waterfront on one side and a shortcut to the train station on the other. Restaurants, coffee shops and gelato are just next door. The rooms are minimalist. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, and I love that cappuccino, hot chocolate and vending machines are available at all times on the second floor. The staff was fantastic, each time.
