My mattress was sooooo comfortable-much better than my mattress at home. I loved the shabby chic look and some of the repurposed furniture.I had my own cottage and it was so cozy at the top of the hill and quiet.We complimented the house keeper on the cleanliness. My husband was a bit disappointed that there was no TV, he did settle in and enjoy the peace and calm of the Inn. The breakfast was wonderful although I love my coffee hot and the coffee was warm at best. I think the thermal coffee servers with the vacumn top might work better for temperature and freshness. The fresh baked quiche, bread and muffins. There was a nice variety of food and snacks.
Our room was just lovely with a view of the clock tower and the river, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nicely appointed the shower was very nice as was the shower head the towels were fluffy. I would give The Marshall House 5 stars and I hope we get back to the area so we can stay again.
