Professional, warm, welcoming and willingness to help by the front desk officers Sadati and his manager was really amazing. More informative. They made us feel really at home.
Rooms are clean, with spacious and full of privacy.
I really recommend especially when already in island for last minute deals.

Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable. Greetings Paula& Johannes from The Netherlands . We are looking forward to come back again .

by walking distance you could reach Kae Funk, which is lovely place, with party, and amazing sunset view. Is right place for whom are interested for The Rock, by taxi it takes aprox. 25 min, the same to Paje beach. Michamwi is calm and full of nature. Unfortunately the ocean is full of seeweeds and is not pleasant to swim here.

It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful blue ocean as far as the eye can see. It's also quiet and very tranquil. We enjoyed a nice long walk on the beach with little to no interruptions from beach boys of sellers.
I needed a break in a quiet, secluded place, and Afya Village was exactly what I was looking for. It's in the northernmost part of Michamvi, in a cove of its own that almost disappears during high tide, and it is far enough from the noise of the main Michamvi beach or other locations in Zanzibar. The room was well-equipped and spacious enough, and the bed was comfy. The breakfast is superb, and all the food I had was delicious, well prepared. Last but not least, all staff was nice and helpful, easy-going.
We were made so welcome by all the staff- especially those at the restaurant 👌
The food was excellent - the best we have had on Zanzibar in the 4 weeks we have been traveling. Great menu and flavours - it might be pricy for Zanzibar but we'll worth paying the extra.
Beach is faboulus and the nicest and cleanest we have been to. Very quiet here so you don't get bothered non stop on the beach! A very relaxing and enjoyable stay - wish it had been longer.
Thank you for a lovely stay
Mount Zion is a magnificent resort close the beach in a peaceful and beautiful location. We loved our stay and enjoyed the nice and relaxed atmosphere a lot. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had a good stay. The rooms are spacious with nice garden view.
The resort is very close to the beach and it’s beautiful to go for a walk or swim or watch the sunset. We can really recommend Mount Zion to everyone who want to visit Zanzibar.
Perfect.
It was my third visit to Zanzibar, so I know what I'm talking about. This is a magical place to stay in Zanzibar, relax and meditate ... and eat meals that really made with care and love from best ingredients. Spacious, very beautifully decorated bedroom and living area, maintained gardens and pools, very calm, away from beach boys and other noises of the island. Our host Maite, chef and all other staff members made us feel like we are at home.
The place is very nice, full of nature, trees and fresh air. At night there was a little bonfire and quiet in the shared space. The food was good, but they charged us way more than the real price. The location was ok, 10 minutes walk to the closest beach. However if you come back at night after sunset, is VERY dark, no lights on the little streets.
The waiter was very nice and helpful.
We saw the red colobus walking around the trees.
Loved the service from the manager Salim. There was a confusion with my booking and airport pick up but the hotel sent a driver to the airport regardless just in case I do arrive on the 23rd which I did. That was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. Also all the staff are very kind and helpful! I had an amazing time and would definitely stay again at the resort!
Excellent place to relax. The hotel is located on an idyllic landscape in a small village next to the beach. The rooms are right at the beach, breakfast is served outdoors with an excellent view. There is a beach bar with good cocktails and food. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are spotless and the hotel is very well managed.
Really amazing staff!! Especially Fatma, the receptionist, was very kind and knowledgeable about the area. The facilities were very clean and in a great location next to the Rock restaurant. Could easily go on excursions as the fisherman were hanging around the beach. Also Kae funk is a short drive away! Highly recommend
Shanuo was our first hotel in Zanzibar and it was amazing! Gillian and her team are awesome and you really feel like you are part of the family! My favourite part was the fact they serve breakfast on your room terrace! Absolutely recommend for this property for a chilled and comfortable stay!
Great location with amazing views and very friendly staff. The room was so comfortable and clean. tasty food. Playing football on the beach. Stayed at 3 hotels around Zanzibar and this was by far the best. Couldn't believe how cheap it was for such a stunning place.
Beautiful and private hotel, only 6 bungalows felt like being at a private residence. Very relaxing place to unwind and retreat great location and facilities. Service and attention to detail was excellent.
The rooms are big and spacious. However, you should check for insects before going to bed. The pool, the restaurant and the bar are very nice. There are plenty of sun beds to relax and enjoy the sunset.
The location and view is spectacular. Amazing place, highly recommended. Friendly staff and good food and drinks.
I would come back any time. If you have the chance to go to Zanzibar, don’t miss Mnana.
super friendly staff, family atmoshpere, helpful owners and extremely cheerful bartender of the nicest girlish laughter on the whole zanzibar, the best mangos on the planet for breakfast
It was just perfect! The location right on the beach with a lot of palm trees. The bungalow with private pool was the perfect choice. Best place we stayed in Zanzibar.
The staff helped us connect with people for our local excursion in Zanzibar which was so good, i recommend take the lead from the property for local trips.
