The apartment is amazing. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The best part is of course the view. You can enjoy the mountain view right from your bed. We stayed at Juliet 4, so we also had an amazing terrace, where you can spend your evening enjoying the sunset. The apartments are located close to Cantacuzino castle (about 5 minutes walk). Large supermarkets such as Lidl, Mega Image or Penny find in the area 20 minutes walk. There are also small local shops along the road.
Featuring barbecue facilities, Casa Bucegi Busteni is located in Buşteni and is an 8-minute walk from Kalinderu Ski Slope. This guest house offers ski storage space. Guests can enjoy mountain views.

I visited during the beginning of autumn and this part of town was very quiet. The cable car area is more busy. Great views of the mountain from the street outside the building.

Excellent to go by train and very enjoyable.

Not much food choices - after 6 most fast food joins were for sweet food. The restaurants were not great - Sinaia has better choices. The grocery shops are ok, parking was fine and the place is walkable. A lot of the people did not speak English or pretended not to because we felt like they did not want to interact with us when paying or asking a question. The view, however, is amazinf and we did not tire of it.

It is a typical winter skiing town. Great for hiking!
If you love hiking, you should stay a little longer.
But there are not a lot of good options for food or breakfast and the local grocery store has not a lot of options.

Make sure you have about 1 more hour than you Google maps show you - traffic jam is usual issue there, starting from Predeal or Azuga you will partially drive and partially stop like every 5 minutes.
City is quite long, parking lots are more or less available. You can find several different supermarkets. Nice hiking abilities, most popular is started near Caraiman monastery - but don't try to move far with your car, better place it near Telecabină.
Cantacuzino castle and park is worth to see.

The prices for the cable car in Bușteni are excessive. 190 lei for a round trip to Bucegi.
So, in order to go hiking on the Bucegi Plateau, you need to get up the mountain with some means. Every option is very expensive. We waited in line for the cable car, for the ascent, for at least 1 hour and a half.
I recommend the restaurant and terrace at Hotel Silva, next to the cable car. Superb view and exceptionally delicious food. Congratulations to the staff at the restaurant of Hotel Silva in Bușteni.

Busteni is great for relaxation.
Busteni is great for relaxation. I would not recommend it to young people looking for club parties.
Casa Acutei is the perfect place if you want to enjoy great food served by welcoming waiting staff.
- Good location (quiet area, next to the cable car and not very far from downtown also);
- Nice mountain view (including from the restaurant’s terrace);
- Clean and warm rooms;
- Mini bar, slippers, hairdryer in the room;
- The kindness of the housemaids;
- The hotel has its own restaurant (diverse menu, good food and service) which is a big plus;
- The private parking of the hotel is rather small, but there is quite a large public parking next to the hotel at affordable prices (15 lei/approx. 3 euros per day);
- Mini markets nearby.
The house was clean, spacious and close to the train station, which is main transport in Busteni, if you want to travel to Sinaia or Brasov. The view of the Caraiman Mountain is just breath taking! And the host...I have no words...Beatrice was so friendly and tried to accommodate every little request we had. We would like to thank Beatrice for her kindness and her friendly attitude towards us and my family. Thank you, Beatrice, for such great accommodation and for helping us when we needed.
A very nice location away from traffic and noise, close to the treeline and a 5-6 minute walk from the railway station. The whole place has a homey atmosphere and staff couldn't be any nicer. Rooms are clean, mountain hut like, bathrooms are well maintained. They cooked an excellent dinner for me and the group I was joining. I wish I met this great positive attitude in big hotels in Brașov for instance, but that is not the case. Thank you you for everything!
Room was in the basement of house but had all we needed. Clean, modern, fast internet, heating. You can park in front of the house. It is very close to the main road in Busteni, location is good. Also the views to the mountains are incredible. The host Andrei was very nice, kind, helpful and friendly. Although it was holiday and touristic place, the price was very affordable. Definitely recommend this place!
Breakfast was good, the personnel was great (the receptionist and the cook, lovely ladies). But there was no hot water until the next morning, the toilet was not functioning properly and there was a certain smell in the hotel (ground floor). 250 ron for 1 night seems a bit much for the facilities offered from my point of view. Great location, but very noisy because of loud music coming from outside the hotel.
Great location in Busteni. Great starting point for all hikes in Caraiman direction. Just a short walk to main street with all restaurants, pubs and shops. The host is very kind, opened and friendly despite the language barrier. Superb mountain view from the balcony.
We had Freya room with mountain view and it was very big, bed was very comfy and it was quiet like on no other accommodation. Looks far from the Busteni center but it’s not, just 15 min walk. We really enjoyed the view and all the luxurious details of the room
very nice staff;
loved the combination of steampunk aesthetics with the rustic feel of the surroundings. would recommend for a nice quiet vacation, far from the noise of Busteni.
location was very clean, which is always a bonus.
The hotel is set in a beautiful location in the picturesque town of Busteni. The host were incredibly helpful and generous. I really enjoyed using the sauna and and hot tub, which is perfect after a long day of skiing.
The jacuzzi is awesome and the view is amazing.
The hotel is equisite clean and the food is delicious. The location is the best, walking distance to the center. Totally recommend it!!!
Everything was ok,my plane was late and i reach to the Hotel very late in the night.
I call and the owner answer and give me the indication to get the key .
