We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Olhão, Portugal, for six days with my wife and son, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service from the incredible staff members Thais, Irilda, and Mariane. Their friendliness and helpfulness truly made our stay special and memorable.
Our suite was absolutely lovely, boasting excellent facilities that catered to all our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights, and the high-pressure shower was invigorating. The suite also featured a cozy sofa, two TVs, a cooktop, and a well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils, which made our stay even more convenient.
Every morning, we looked forward to the amazing and tasteful breakfast that was provided. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, making each meal a delightful experience.
The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean, which we greatly appreciated. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene was evident and commendable.
The location of the hotel in Olhão is perfect! It’s close to supermarkets, the ferry terminal, and offers free road parking, making it easy to explore the area. The convenience and accessibility added to the overall enjoyment of our holiday.
In summary, our stay was fantastic, thanks to the wonderful staff, excellent facilities, and prime location. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fabulous stay in Olhão, Portugal.

We have stayed a number of times at this hotel, booked through you and have always been impressed. However this time we arrived and were given key 438 to our room. We went up in lift to our room only to find that the key would not open the door. We had a card given to us with the key and it clearly stated room 438. Another English guest saw us struggling and immediately checked the card room number and offered to help. He tried with no luck and confirmed it was not the right key. My husband went back to reception with key and card to complain. One of the staff came back with him saying it was room 408, he took us to that room and opened the door. He did not bring back the original card with him. We then went to bed without leaving the room again.
After breakfast the next morning we returned to room 408 only to find we had been locked out. It was approximately 9.30 am. Fortunately there was a cleaner nearby who was able to let us into the room. This confusion led to a lot of stress, not very pleasant when you have had a long journey and we’re feeling tired.
I complained to the staff on checking out on the next day. We asked them to take our complaint forward and they agreed they would do this. Although they were apologetic they did not seem unduly bothered.
We were surprised that a hotel of this rating did not acknowledge our complaint. We would like the hotel manager to be made aware of our experience.

It's a very safe city. Many nice shops and restaurants/bars. Very clean and sunny city.
Love the historic flooring of the roads, but don't wear high heals there, please. Costline is amazing and very cheap ferry on hand to go to the beach. Like €2.60 only!! Beavhes are stunning and warm sea to swim.
Bus and train station is near, and the Uber works fine. Cheap transport as well as the food market. Must visit!!

Olhao is relaxed. Some great restaurants, lots of variety. Our favourite was at the Marina near where you take the ferry. Take a trip to the Ria Formosa and enjoy the islands and the beaches. There are many boat companies plus the regular ferry every 20 minutes.
Golf is nearby but expensive. Look for deals, if they are available. We played Benamor, tight close and not very long. Still enjoyed it.

I would definitely hire. A car as some of the surrounding area are stunning

Beautiful old and new Olhao. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area and never had a bad meal. Actually loved every meal I had. A long waterfront takes you from the old town to the new town and plenty to see and do.

Lovely little town, with an old town to stay in and explore and a newer town which we didn't really visit. We found the old town to be inviting, quaint, clean, and big enough to meet your needs for restaurants, shops, and easy access back onto the highway. There are no beaches to walk on, you need to take a boat but we didn't try it out. We enjoyed everything within walking distance. There is a promenade to walk a long the water with outdoor seating and great food, loved the garlic butter shrimp, a popular dish everywhere.

I know Olhao as a cheap and quit place but not anymore, its too noisy and expensive for us so unfortunately our next trip will be somewhere else.
For children there is not so much to do.
Its an excellent place for the eldery because of the shops, the bars, the restaurants and the boats to the beach. Eveything is easy to reach by car, bus, train, boat or taxi.
You have to be carefull for sunburn. Especially at the beach.
I dont burn easily but even early in April I got burned so much it hurts.
Be carefull! Also please dont swimm, the water is *** cold and we experienced first hand the tide can take you away from the beach,.
We stayed in B&B Olhão for 3 nights. Everything worked well. Location is great - close to train station and plenty of cafes and restaurants around - and quite unique (upper floor to a shopping center). The hotel is very modern and new, comfortable beds, super clean and well planned in every detail. The staff is very kind and we felt very welcomed in the hotel. I wish I could remember the name of everyone who helped us, but a special thanks to Diogo, who went above and beyond to help us.
The breakfast was excellent. Our room was immaculate with a view of Olhao from the balcony. The location of the hotel is ideal and lies between the train station and the downtown. Each way a 5 minute walking distance.
The staff was very friendly from the minute we entered the lobby. They answered all our questions during our stay and helped us with the transportation to the airport by calling us a taxi on our last day.
All in all a superb hotel. Thanks for accommodating us.

Olhao is a real gem with a great mix of locals. Trains and Buses to Faro, Tavira and beyond.❤️ Whole place had a calm vibe with nice decore. 😊
Check in was the best i ever had i got there around midnight and I was given the keys to my room and told to come back in the morning to pay my room bill, it’s been over 20 years since I was was in the country and it was great to be back, the location of this hotel is fantastic i will be coming back to stay again soon, and i was very surprised to see at the hotel had a elevator it was not on the website all the best nick
Absolutely beautiful apartment in a stunning quiet location a couple of miles outside of Olhao. The owners Manuela and Miguel along with their housekeeper Ligia made our stay the best on our trip through Spain and Portugal. The countryside around monte das perdizes is full of walks,and wildlife is abundant. If you want easy access to the towns but also solitude away from the tourist trap, this is the place to stay.
The Hotel is a 'Pure' relaxation. The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfasts were terrific. The location of the hotel is superb. Just be aware if you drive into Olhao that parking at peak times can be difficult if you want it near to the hotel. The roof-top bar and pool are delightful and tranquil and again very relaxing.
The best and healthiest breakfast i've ever had in a hotel!! And made with lots of effort and love! Even put breakfast out for us at 6 o'clock in the morning although breakfast usually gets served after 8 o'clock.
The owner was more than helpful - one can really feel like home and welcome!

The hotel was very clean with spacious rooms and great facilities. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and quick to respond to our requests. The location is great too - it’s just a 5 minute walk into Olhao. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide selection of fruits and cooked foods.
