Located on the Atlantic Ocean, the cosmopolitan Cassablanca is the largest city in Morocco although Rabat is the political capital. This colorful city features lively traditional markets and narrow streets full of spices and aromas.
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Hassan II Mosque has the tallest minaret in the world. Made of hand-crafted marble, this beautiful mosque blends the Islamic architecture with Moroccan elements. Situated in the heart of Morocco, the modern Port of Casablanca is the largest one in North Africa and one of the largest artificial ports in the world.
The traditional market of Quartier Habous has a great variety of handmade Arabic carpets, metal wares and a huge olive area. The shopping paradise of the Exposition Nationale d'Artisanat is the place to buy local products, souvenirs and quality leather goods.

If you are looking for relaxation, visit one of the local Turkish baths and enjoy soothing spa treatments. Booking.com offers a big selection of hotels in Casablanca with wellness facilities.
Mohammed V International Airport is the busiest airport in Morroco, serving many European countries. The train station of Casablanca Voyageurs connects the city with Marrakech and Tangier.
Heads up for traveling with a baby - Moroccans don’t have...
Heads up for traveling with a baby - Moroccans don’t have regulations about baby safety in the car and some cars even don’t have car seat belts to attach the car seat properly. The air in Casablanca is very polluted, I had a migraine which was gone only on the plane. The traffic is chaotic and you have to watch out for cars when crossing the street. The main attraction is Hassan mosque - and it’s worth staying nearby. The taxi from / to airport is very expensive so the best if you travel just for a day is to take a train and pick an accommodation within a walking distance from the train station (it arrives in the city center). La Corniche has a lot of beggars. For food I recommend to download Glovo delivery service - also the first delivery is going to be free. The food is amazing there. The summary - stay there for a day and move on to other Moroccan cities / towns.

Nice beach city with enough restaurants to get different...
Nice beach city with enough restaurants to get different flavours. We were happy with the cost we spent and overall had a great time. If you decide to rent a car, get ready for difficult traffic conditions specially in toll highways. Do bring your own sunscreen as that is very expensive to buy. Visit the mosque with a 1 hour guide which should cost 20€ per person not more. Well worth the visit. Take a taxi to the old Medina market. All the bargains are available there. Several malls, but international brands are more expensive than in Europe.

The Hassan 11 Mosque was by far the most interesting...
The Hassan 11 Mosque was by far the most interesting attraction in Casablancca. There were also good views of the coast and lighthouse and some interesting murals near there.
The small taxies and trams were good ways to reavel around the city.
Ricks Cafe looked like a tourist trap with very pricy meals.
Choubi a restaurant , straight across the round about from the hotel was a great BBQ restaurant with large tasty heplings at very reasonable prices. We went there after noticing a constant stream of locals eating there and weren't disappointed. The staff didn't have much English and no English Menu but took us to large refrigerated meat display and we could choose our own type of meat or chicken.

Only selected areas of the city are worthwhile to visit.
Only selected areas of the city are worthwhile to visit. Most of the city appears to have flourished up to the 1970s as many buildings are from that period - now mostly run down. Lots of litter on the road and traffic participants regularly violate the rules - in particular motorists passing through red lights.
Better to stay in Rabat which is a very clean city in comparison, and perhaps visit Casablanca on a day trip only.
Attractions of Casablanca are few: Habbous quarter, Hassan mosque and of course the Rick's Cafe.

The train station/tram is very good ,I enjoy riding them.
The train station/tram is very good ,I enjoy riding them. I have problem eating from restaurant as the opening are quite hard. What I mean about hard is the timing for opening is not for a morning person. Pack extra dress for winter. My french sucks and arabic is not good also so there is a language barrier you have to overcome.

Never been photographed by so many ?chinese ever
what fun
watch out for the taxi´s,no way to avoid , just accept the pain and do not screw up your coronaries!!!just laugh and pay
you can walk everywhere takes time but the mosque is a must see
This is a perfect location if you are beginning and ending your trip to Morocco in Casablanca. It is 1.5 blocks from the ocean and the largest Mosque in Morocco. The staff can arrange early jet lag check in. And pick-up at the airport. Breakfast really nice. Views of the mosque possible. Unfortunately, the massive refresh on the hotel was done ~10 years ago and it is aging nicely, but yes aging. We wanted flexibility to sleep at arrival and more corporate environment and this worked well.
A friend who lives in Morocco told me about this hotel and I was thrilled with it. It's modern, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great. Best of all — location and price. I needed a place for one night before flying back to the US. On trips to Casablanca, I always eat at Rick's Cafe, and this is just a short taxi ride away. It is also located next to a mall with a grocery. I can't imagine getting more for your money, and I'd definitely stay there again!
The staff were absolutely great! Hazem at the reception, Ayoub at the restaurant, the persons who cleaned the room, down to the gardener who kept the grass green were just fantastic!
Hotel is not in the middle of town, which is a good thing. It's right next to the highway that connects ten minutes by car to the city, twenty minutes to the airport, ten minutes away from the Oasis train station, and the gateway to all cities in Morocco.
Highly recommend this hotel.
Front desk staff, Mr. Marwan, was absolutely gracious and very guest friendly. At times, he went over and above our expectations in helping our stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for their money’s worth. Wish there were more staff members like Marwan at every hotel in Morocco. Breakfast was vey nice and had a wide range of pastries. Look for this hotel next time you are on Casablanca. Enjoy.
Our first hotel in Morocco (we stayed in Riads or Dars) and it was a good experience. It is in the same complex as Tachfine shopping centre and therefore we could park safely in the underground carpark. The room was very comfortable and clean, staff were pleasant and it was value for money. We were able to walk to all the Casablanca attractions (but we do like long walks) therefore we cannot comment on public transport to/from the hotel.
big scammers!!! my friend and her cousin from Morocco stayed with me in this room, the hotel manager came to tell us the her cousin, ( a man) cannot stay with us because it’s against the law. obviously he just wanted money, and that was the only way he would let him stay. so we had to give him 100DR so he can stay with us. how dumb can you be as a manager knowing that I’ll put it in a review… don’t stay here!!!!
I stayed at the Odyssee Boutique Hotel at the start and end of my trip to Morocco. It was a quiet, clean and modern hotel in a good location. The room was comfortable, wifi was reliable and available throughout the hotel. Quality of service was variable. Reception staff during my first stay were helpful, but those I encountered during my second stay were less so. Maria in the breakfast area was always friendly.
At Cultural Morocco Tours, we consistently book this hotel to our guests, and it never disappoints. Situated in the senter of Casablanca, close to the Medina, the location is ideal. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the service and comfort provided are top-notch. We highly recommend it for an outstanding stay.
We got to look at several rooms when we arrived and allowed to select a bigger suite which was beautiful. The biggest painted door and television in Morocco! Espresso coffee on the terrace with a great breakfast there. Easy 5 minute walk to the train station.
The hotel is situated close to the train station and is easy to find. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and this was the warmest hotel I stayed in Morocco (which was really nice for me). Overall I enjoyed my stay.
everything perfect, the hotel is super clean and modern, the only thing is that the food prices are too expensive for a hotel in Morocco. A half cup of milk for € 4. and a bottle of water for € 4. it seems exaggerated to me.
The Best Hotel in Morocco !
Good and happy friendly staff.
Bell Boys, who can fix air conditioning and refrigeration !
Grand Old Majestic Building.
Hope they leave it original.
Also great location and Breakfast.
At Cultural Morocco Tours, we specialize in crafting unforgettable tour experiences throughout Morocco. For travelers visiting the enchanting city of Casablanca, we highly recommend the Melliber Appart Hotel
I love this hotel, one of my favorite in Morocco. Great people, great room, great location and a charming atmosphere.
You have the benefits of a large 4* but still maintaining a human personal touch !
This riad is heavenly. it is everything we’ve grown to love about Morocco. simplistic, impeccably clean, exceptionally hospitable, with superb food prepared in the traditional Moroccan style.
Has a Riad feel, but with over 10 floors.
Fantastic breakfast, the only buffet style we had in Morocco.
Close to a nice fish market and several restaurants and car dealerships.
Spotless clean.
Staff treat guests like in five-star hotels.
Rich breakfast compared to other hotels in Morocco.
Great value for the price.
