What a comfortable stay! The place is well kept, aesthetically pleasing and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The staff incredibly down to earth. We absentmindedly locked ourselves out when we were moving into our room and we messaged them and quickly a staff member opened up the door for us! On top of that we realized there wasn’t any bedding for the sofa bed so the same kind lady helped us dress the entire bed! Our beds were incredibly comfortable. The pillows fluffy and felt so good. Breakfast simple but prepared well. The kind woman made cappuccinos for us with artistic designs with cinnamon! There’s a water cooler that’s in the lobby for everyone’s convenience (hot, cold, warm). Bathroom design very modern and beautiful.

Zalaegerszeg is a precious gem West from Lake Balaton. Lovely, calm city with every possible family attractions in the city or nearby. We love the playground in Vizslapark (a beautiful recreational park in the very centre of the city), the Thermal Bath (just 3 mins drive from the centre), the Pitvar Restaurant (the best deer-goulash in the world probably!), the central pedestrian streets with lovely cafes and shops, so, really, it is a beautiful, charming city!
Ah, yes, and Heviz is just 25 mins drive away!

Pretty quiet, most of the shops at the town centre were closed at 7-8 pm on saturday. During the week all the coofee shops / tea rooms opens pretty late.
Ice skating possible only at weekends and free time activities are pretty limited.

Not much to see or do in Zalaegerszeg, but it's ok for a day...
Not much to see or do in Zalaegerszeg, but it's ok for a day or two. The town is cute, the food is amazing, traditional gulash for example, and the prices are also really good. We ate in the Belgian Reastaurant and it was very nice and tasty. Since the town is pretty small, you can reach everything by walking. At the train station is also easy to buy tickets and the trains are pretty punctual. Our accomodation was also amazing. There are also thermal spas near by. All in all not bad, but the thing that we really didn't like, was that people speak very very little english or german, so that comunication was really annoying. So if you want to meet new people there and ask a bit more information, it's gonna be difficult if you don't speak any hungarian. People were not rude or anything like that, some even tried really to talk, but wre not able to. Also important to know: the shops close early on Saturday, before 4 pm!

Smooth check-in and check-out with friendly host. Central, but quiet area. Spacious flat in a typical Hungarian house from the good old days.
Zalaegerszeg is usually neglected by tourists, though it is one of the most pleasantt towns in Hungary. If you are on your way to Slovenia/Croatia/Austria and need a nice place to stay, take HOME for a few nights and enjoy the best part of Hungary.
The communication with the hotel staff was excellent, I had a very late arrival and they have waited for me (updated the hotel up a head).

Everything! We entered to the room very easily with the key box. A nice smell of the room greeted us. It was clean, neat, tidy. We had everything we needed in the room. The communication was smooth with the responsible person. Location was in the middle of the city. If you ever go to Zalaegerszeg, you should definitely choose this place to stay. Thank you a lot!
The flat was really nice in a quiet area, but still reasonibly close to Zalaegerszeg's city centre even by foot. There are shops and cafees nearby with bus stop Zalaegerszeg's main train station. We always found an empty parking spot right front of the main door which was great. The neighbours and the owners was really nice, we didn't had a single issue.
Awesome room for a good price. Everything was perfectly clean and the jacuzzi provided great opportunity to relax. Staff is very polite and helpful, one receptionist even helped me order a food on New years eve as I’m not from Hungary. Overall it has been a perfect accommodation and I would hugely recommend it.
