Eger is beautiful. I had planned only few hours in city, had great wine, and beautiful architecture. People were friendly, I recommend to visit the market place, lots of local goods. I will definitely travel to Eger more!

Enjoyed the thermal baths and the valley of beautiful women, but the castle museum was a bit of a letdown. Definitely wouldn't spend more than one night here, but could even just pass through it for a short visit on the way to somewhere else.

Eger is an incredible location to visit! It has it all! From historical sites to thermal baths & wineries. Something for not just all ages but also budgets. We over heard people talking about an excellent restaurant at the citadel and indeed 1552 restaurant was esquisite!

We made the mistake of coming during the winter, we really wanted to enjoy nature in the mountains and to visit the national park. Due to weather conditions we couldn't do much and the national park was closed. The steam train nearby was also closed. It's a cute village to visit, i bet it is more beautiful during spring/summer/autumn.
The hotel is more beautiful in reality than in the pictures. The owners of the hotel are a kind and welcoming couple. The cabins were small but clean and equipped. The cabins are in a beautiful and huge garden with hammocks hanging between the trees, and places to sit . Inside the garden there is an organic garden that the owners of the place cultivate and let me sample the wonderful tomatoes they grow. There is an air conditioner, which is excellent and definitely not typical for Hungary.
We have just stayed there for three nights & it was very good & comfortable. The hostess Esther was very welcoming. The apartment was spotless clean & nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy as well.
There is a separate laundry with washing machine & dryer which came in very handy. There is a private parking inside the backyard but there is also plenty of parking just outside the apartment. Also the location is very good just a few minutes walk from the Eger Castle. High recommend.
Exceptional apartment - squeaky clean, very spacious and comfortable, well appointed, lots of closet space. AC worked beautifully. Lovely balcony, quick walk to the historic center and all the sights. Surprisingly quiet at night given the location. Easy self-check in and excellent communication with the host before and during the stay. I highly recommend it for exploring Eger, and would happily return.
Location is perfect as only a few steps from the city center walking area. The room - including the bathroom - was very clean. We had the luck to have a small balcony and the mornings started with birds singing each day. The staff were extreme kind, all smiling and ready to help or just give a nice hello. I am extremely thankful that the whole family could enjoy together a great holiday in Eger.
The location was very close to the old town center and Eger castle, only a few minutes of walk - perfect for exploring the history and arhitecture of Eger.

This place is in the heart of Eger, within walking distance to all touristic objectives. You can safely park your car in their garage and explore the center by foot. We received a baby cot and a room upgrade which was highly appreciated.
You have to try out their restaurant and also the pizza place next door. They are probably the best places to eat in Eger.
A small, lovely pension with a really nice atmosphere. The landlady is friendly and open hearted. A private parking is available behind the gate, so we didn't have to worry where to leave our car. The rooms had some paper guides that gave us additional interesting places to visit in Eger. As a nice accent, there was a welcoming serving of local palinka.
Wonderful hotel is located in the centre of Eger. It is very fantastic place for staying there when you are travelling solo or with friends or with family. Very tiny and calm hotel with its own charm.

Located in a quiet street, surrounded by large trees, in walking distance to vine cellars valley. Enough space to park the car in the garden. Enjoyed Eger downtown as a nice place for evening walk, five minutes drive by car. Big thanks to friendly landlady, all was well prepared, appartment clean and comfortable.

It is one of the greatest locations you can find in Eger. It is built together with the Macok Restaurant (highly recommended) where you can have a nice breakfast and with the "Pizza, brumbrum, világbéke" with great pizza and coffee (and amazing lunch menu) just 2 steps from the hotel entrance.
We loved the unique design of the hotel and the historically influenced decor. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful. And breakfast was wonderful and went well above our expectations!
