Sarti offers a beach that includes rocky and deeper areas to the North and more shallow entries to the South. There are calm days, but usually there is surf, and often it is quite wavey. There are, however, great other beach options nearby if you have a car. Ten minutes North is Orange beach which I cannot recommend enough (think water like Elafonissi beach on Crete or even the Caribbean -- granted the water is cooler). Twenty minutes south is Kalamitsi beach which is sheltered and will be much calmer than Sarti when the NorthEast winds are blowing.
Dining in Sarti can be hit or miss. I would recommend Kotsaris, on the beach at the North end. We had consistantly great meals there.

Monassu beach is one of the most organized but it is too expensive. They only offer sunbeds and sun umbrellas for different prices but nothing special other than that. There are stones at the entrance to the sea,not sand.

A place which in the past was an old fishing village and which has now developed, turning into a beautiful tourist resort.
There are many shops near the accommodation and many restaurants with traditional food, but also food from international cuisine, including fast food.
You can get to Sarti by car, or by renting cars or scooters.
I can't give details about the local transport, because I didn't use it.

A village/city full of flowers and friendly people. The beach is with sand and the sun beds are available at a reasonable price - you just have to buy something from the beach bar and this covers the cost for the sun beds. The water is not very deep and the waves are usually not high.

Sarti is a lovely quiet village in the off season (end of April), when some good restaurants and bars are already open. Next to a beautiful sandy and clean beach. Some of the most beautiful beaches in Halkidiki are located near Sarti.
House Anna Sarti has perfect location, very close to city center and yet it is situated in quiet street so you don't have to worry about the noise. Studio we stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and nice, they even gave us a little gift when we were leaving Sarti. We had a little problem with poor internet connection during our stay, but it is typical for smaller towns in Greece. The best part was easy access to beach, it is very close to one of the best parts of the beach in Sarti.
We loved the stay we had at Ioranna. Starting from the great booking experience, the complementary welcome package, certain delicious surprises in the mornings and last but not least the great personnel and the delightful host Anna. Everything was easy to arrange and agree upon, the room was cosy, clean and equiped with all needed. The location is ideally close to the beach and the centre of Sarti. Also one big plus the private parking area. We enjoyed our stay, and we warmly recommend it!
The location is great. On the very end of New Sarti. The beach is around 50 meters walk from the apartment. Nice sandy beach, good for families with small children. Very quiet, no cars at night (you can sleep with the balcony door open). The owners are very nice people, always here to help. We had to shorten our stay a day earlier, and the owners as good hosts sent us home with gifts :) Anyway... parking, in front of the villa. Strong and free Wi-Fi.

This was one of the best vacations we’ve had so far - peaceful place with a wonderful beach , not far from Sarti where you can find anything you need. And the beach is a few steps away from Christina rooms and studios.

We've had a nice and calmy stay! It is a few steps from the center of Sarti and the central beach. Even with this location it is pretty quiet and calmy. The hosts of the hotel were very nice and welcomed us with a big smiles in a friendly atmosphere. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the kitchen included all we need it for our short stay.
ANNA HOUSE is recommended. Really welcoming family, Alaxandra helped us about local sea food and good beach. When we arrived house, She gave us local drink, dessert and organic chicken eggs. Room has clean, nice view. Thank you for everything Alaxandra. If I have chance to come Sarti again, I am going to stay your house.

The location is great! Few steps from the best sandy beach in Sithonia, great garden with palm trees, olive trees, pool, simply a paradise. Sea view, nice breakfast, best value for money. I stayed two times in this hotel and plan to coe back soon! So romantic, so peaceful, I love it!

The property is new, room was spacious for two people, had kitchenette, good double bed and excellent location (just in front of the beach). It also had a good parking space.
