I introduced this beautiful region to my wife and a befriended couple from Denmark and decided to book a 2 nights weekend getaway at the Hotel Val Vignes in St. Hippolyte.
The hotel itself is beautiful and so is the location. The service of the frontdesk team and all the employees we encountered is magnificent. We enjoyed every interaction with them. Beeing it pre- and afterdinner drinks, bike rental, wine storage; everything was great, and as mentioned, the staff is superb. The only disappointment was the actual room. We booked the Premium category, but the room didn't look at all as displayed. We had a parking view and the room was just OK. A bummer as it didn't match the overall wonderful experience we encountered at this exceptional hotel. Also, the room cleaning was not up to standard. Dirty towels (we put on the floor) were taken but not exchanged. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel, but we would ensure we will get an appropriate room per booked category when visiting again.

The food was EXCEPTIONAL. The best breakfast we've ever had at a hotel or B&B.
We loved the fact that we were given a suite (3 adult family members in two separate bedrooms was a pleasant surprise!) and that there was a lift/elevator.

The staff was very friendly, and the restaurants charming with cute decorations of teddy bears, and decent food.
The simple continental buffet style breakfast had something for everyone.
We were able to securely park our motorcycle at the gated lot across the street.

Lovely hotel in a charming area of France. The rooms were updated and comfortable. Hot showers and cozy down comforters were excellent. My room had a balcony that was also fabulous.
