The room was a decent size, and had a mini-bar (which we didn't use) and a safe (which we didn't use). A couple more hangers in the wardrobe would have been useful, but we managed. The air-con was effective and quiet. Beds were comfortable. The shower was great. Hotel staff were were helpful and we were grateful for the left luggage room on our last day. The roof-top pool was lovely, though very cold! The hotel is in a great, quiet location, well placed for the ferry to Cadiz, and the river walk to the train station. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby - we loved the tour of the Osborne bodega. The Cafe Bar Sanluca, about five mins away, on Pl. del Polvorista welcomed us every morning, for a coffee and tostada. We enjoyed the food in every restaurant/tapas bar we ate in and look forward to our next trip to try more of them!

A small town with plenty of history, particularly of the Sherry trade (Osborne in particular).
Small enough to walk around comfortably, though there seemed to be no shortage of taxis.
Uncrowded (late April).
Many good restaurants and bars.
Very convenient for travel to Cadiz and Jerez.

This was a great clean hotel, with a really comfortable and spacious room. The minibar was a nice addition, and not excessively priced, though admittedly very limited options. Although the room had great soundproofing from the street, there was quite a lot of noise coming from nearby rooms and downstairs in the reception.

We came to the town from Cadiz. There is no comparison.
We came to the town from Cadiz. There is no comparison. The town is busy but not trendy as claimed in all the media. You can find a good restaurant or two if you do the legwork.
The harbour is not on the sea but on the river. We didn't think it worthwhile to try the beach.
We will can't see what all the fuss is about and will stick to Cadiz in future

The hotel is elegantly furnished with lots of open interior spaces. The gardens are well maintained and although small, the swimming pool was a great place to cool down. The hotel is in the perfect location for walking into town and the port. The staff were very helpful giving us a map of the area and pointing out places of interest. They also printed off the timetable for the ferries to Cadiz.
Nice hotel with good facilities (including a roof top pool). Great location in the centre of the old historic town of El Puerto de Santa Maria with lots of restaurants and tapas bars nearby. Right opposite the boat terminal so easy to catch a catamaran over to Cadiz (a crossing which only took 30 minutes). We thought it was nicer here than staying in the centre of Cadiz.
A delightful hotel with a pretty garden at the entrance close to the rail station. It’s a basic hotel but the bed was extremely comfortable. The owner was very friendly. We had breakfast at one of the local cafes nearby. The bathroom was dated but the shower was hot and had reasonable power. It was very clean. We would stay here again.
We loved this hotel! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best that we had anywhere in Europe. The room was comfortable and very near the Sherry Bodegas that we came to visit and the art was exemplary! There was nothing to dislike in this hotel! Highly recommended!
Really nice and clean apartment. It had everything there, really. Plus in a very good location, the host was super attentive and answered right away everytime I asked something. I totally recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time in El Puerto de Santa María.
Great hotel in Andalusian style, friendly staff, big room, breakfast ok and exceptional: welcome drink and 1 bottle of Cava offered with a beautifully arranged plate of strawberries. Since its location is not right in center, it’s nicely quiet.
The location of the hotel was very convenient to all my places of interest. Was happy with the availability and ease to communicating with the hotel staff. Would recommend to anyone requiring a quiet, convenient and reasonably priced hotel.
Charming, lovely little family run hotel (more of a guest house really) and friendly people. Courtyard downstairs with tables and chairs and an honesty bar (EUR1.50 for tea, coffee, beer, water). Lots of quirkiness!
Lovely stay at Soho boutique. Gorgeous place. Was there for a wedding and thankfully the hotel kept the pool areas open beyond season as it was still hot enough to relax by the pool. Great room sizes and amenities.
The room was comfortable and clean. Even though there is a busy square next to the hotel, we did not hear a sound a night because the rooms are soundproofed. The staff was also very nice.
Great value for money! beautiful hotel with lots of history, Knowledgeable and friendly staff and also English spoken.
comfy bed, hot shower…
Loved all the plants!
