Fantastic rooms in a great location. Bear in mind it's a 30+ minute walk from town and whilst it was a lovely walk in you probably wouldn't want to walk back as it would be uphill all the way and the elevation is quite high

Very good and colonial place that remains without many changes in the architecture, which in itself is something of the magic of the town. Gastronomy has been greatly developed and you can find options for all tastes and budgets, there are even a couple of very good vineyards. Two days will be enough.

Villa de Leyva is well known to the people in Colombia, but many foreigners don't know about it. It is a small colonial town. All of their streets are covered with stone. The construction, even new homes are built according to a well defined colonial style.

Very good place to stay for a weekend.
Very good place to stay for a weekend. In two or three days you can get to know the main touristic attractions in this city. The main museums are near to the main square and one day is enough to get to know all of them. Almost everything can be done by walking, but I would recommend hiring a private taxi if you want to know the Casa de Terracota or the Museu Paleontológico, they are a bit far. I would recommend the restaurants at Centro Comercial El Atico, the place is very beautiful. Another (more expensive) option is the Centro Comercial La Guaca, which is also beautiful and perfect for a good beer and to listen live music. Good food at a good price can be found at El Tomatino, very close to the Chocolate Museum.

Is a great colonial, gastronomical, fun, cozy, magical town with warm people, lot of tourists and plans to make (visit the desert, the blue lagoons, museums, wine tours, horse riding, or simply walk around the colonial architecture and appreciate the fossils and white matching houses🏠)
This hotel is the best hotel ever. It was not just a hotel to spend the night, it was an experience from the moment you check in, to the sad moment you have to leave. This is a place where they pamper and spoil you. We did not want to leave. If you get the chance of going to Villa de Leyva, do not hesitate and stay here. The price is a little bit higher than other hotels in the area, but it is totally worth it mainly if you are celebrating a special ocassion. These people surely know what they are doing.
The staff at the hotel it's friendly and they are to help they're Super friendly nice and respectful They have all you need in case You need it like watching the machine, soap, kitchen ,oven, microwave, It's pet friendly and they help you take care of your pet And the location is just fantastic and so near the main plaza It's surrounded by stores, good restaurants and other places that you might need and It's super easy to get there.
great location in villa de leyva. the hotel changed our reservation and we ended up staying in Campanario Real which was nearby. note that breakfast is not on site and there are no outdoor windows to the rooms. the window is inside and therefore there is little privacy and the noise level is high as soon as someone walk into the property. apart from these two points, the hotel is comfortable and clean and the service is great
Newly renovated colonial building in a very quiet part of Villa de Leyva, run by a very friendly and forthcoming young couple. We had a big, bright room with a small balcony. The breakfast which consisted of fruit and other local products was tasty and changed every day. We very much enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back.
Great hostel close to the main plaza, convenient to all. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy hammocks and social spots to chill and meet people. There were 3 bathrooms that I saw. Lockers available. There was definitely hot water in the showers if the water pressure was turned down (ask if you are having trouble with it).
Everything! The staff was amazing and so kind. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was in a quiet area (yet still close to the center) so I was able to sleep well. There was a nice patio to relax and do work. I really felt at home here. It was the best place I’ve stayed during my month in Colombia.
Tere, the host is super friendly and gentle, we felt really welcomed and she gave us really good information about places and services in Villa de Leyva.
The design of the house is beautiful and the house itself is comfortable and cozy.
Wood for the chimeney was always available and accessible.
It’s a gorgeous house converted into a hotel. Rooms are large, bathroom / shower clean and recent.
The staff is super nice and friendly; check-in and check-out were smooth.
The location is perfect, just a few steps from the Plaza Mayor with its church and restaurants.
The place is fantastic, with a nice pool and a large outside area to hang out. The food is delicious and we got to enjoy some live Colombian-style music. Villa de Leyva is truly a must-see village, boasting beautiful old Spanish architecture that adds to its charm.
The place is great. Really charming Hotel, just a few blocks from the main square of Villa de Leyva
The rooms are very comfortable, clean and quite. The host is super friendly, nice, and very responsive.
I love the place and I highly recomend it.
Very beautiful scenery and view of the meadows and valley. Great outside facilities, staff was very friendly. Perfect for calming down, we loved our one night stop during a round trip through Santander. The city of Villa de Leyva is very close by.
Great location in Villa de Leyva and a knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand to help with all your planning and activities while in town. Late check out was really helpful as we had an afternoon bus to catch!
Very stylish hotel located in a quite area of Villa de Leyva. Host was super welcoming and really helpful. Provides free drinking water. Breakfast rather basic but still good
