But the hotel is better than the surrounding hotels, my next time I hope there will be a staff member able to speak and understand English, my Spanish is OK, not perfect but don’t have a problem, just to test your standards in hiring employees.
A very nice hotel in the city center. The staff is great and helpful. If you ask they also can help to organise some tours. The breakfast was delicious.
Our room was totally clean and they cleaned it daily.
Wifi was good and strong. There is no elevator but the staff helped us carrying our luggage.
The safe gated parking with security for motorcycles and cars just across the entrence of the hotel was included. The staff there was very nice and took great care of our bikes.

The location was good, which is not easy to accomplish in Cúcuta...my wife lives in Puerto Santander so we frequently stay in Cúcuta. Everything was wonderful, as long as you know what to expect, since Cúcuta doesn't anything remotely close to a 5 star resort, or any type of resort, haha, but this hotel was clean, comfortable, friendly, with a some old world romantic ambiance...hot water, a/c in the room, clean pool, clean facilities.
The popular saying that it is not because of the devil but because of old is what applies to this hotel.
Everything works perfectly, they are not the newest facilities or the most striking but without a doubt it has everything that no other hotel in cucuta has. Excellent staff, excellent location, excellent services.
Staff super friendly and good service. Nice location, you can walk inside the hotel and be outdoors. It is very quiet in terms of traffic noises. But the pool is loud so if you want a quiet time do not stay by the pool.
The location is excellent (before sunset). You will be very close to a lot of attractions. Once sun sets, the area becomes a bit spicy (wink, wink).
I think the hotel is value for money, but in my view is two stars.
