A szállás elhelyezkedése az óvárosban van, mindenhonnan 5-6 precre. Autóval megközelíteni nem probléma. A Hotelről csak annyit mondanék, SZUPER! Kedves és segítőkész emberek, akik mosolyognak!! Kaptunk a szállástól Puccini házba ingyen belépőt, amit ezúton is köszönünk szépen! Maga a szállásunk egy másik helyen volt, de közel a Hotelhez és bármire szükségünk volt, azonnal segítettek. Az ágyak nagyon kényelmesek voltak, a szoba felszereltsége is szuper! Ide még vissza kell térni és így is teszünk! :)

This place was true to the region…. very old and elegant accommodation with a wonderful couple who own it. We had a huge room with a sitting area, the breakfast that was included was scrumptious with homemade warm cake every morning along with egg, meats, cheeses, yogurts and pastry. Fresh coffee ad way more than one can eat. Elegant breakfast room with an outside patio. The bed was comfortable and bottles of wine were available for reasonable prices. we highly recommend this wonderful B&B!

Al Porto di Lucca is a gem and I wish I would’ve allotted more time for Lucca. I grossly underestimated, to my disservice. First off this location cannot be beat. There’s parking onsite, it’s easy to find, places to eat nearby. It’s a short walk over a pedestrian bridge through the gates of the city and into the center of town which I will get to later.. the house is a nobleman’s manor decorated in Naval motive which was cool considering I’m prior USCG. So there are all kinds of old painting of sea battles and tall ships and men in uniform. My wife loved the chandeliers in the room, the large walk in shower, and the super comfy bed and pillows (pretty rare in our experience on this trip). Breakfast was superb and served overlooking a surprisingly big garden for the middle of town. The host was kind and let us keep the car parked for a short time after checkout to allow us to allow us to explore the city a little more before we had to hit the road again. I want this house it’s georgeous! Now Lucca, we stayed in 10 cities in Italy over 3 weeks, visited countless, and even though we only stayed here one night Lucca was our favorite. Lucca has everything, history, landscape, shopping, expats, restaurants… and not overrun! We were blown away. Just the wall around the city makes you wonder how many shovels it took build.. massive! Do yourself a favor come in the spring, enjoy the flowers, cool air and lack of crowd it’s god country. You may even forget to visit Florence or Pisa which is right nextdoor… Next time I think I’ll spend two weeks here!
