Rarely have I been so impressed by a hotel’s service, cleanliness and comfort. The staff was extremely helpful, starting by providing directions and recommendations for where to go based on the time I had available. When I mistakenly thought the sink had a defect and reported it, the staff came up immediately to try and rectify it. He explained to me how the drainage worked. The breakfast spread was also superb, with a daily homemade dish. For the morning I was there, it was an excellent French toast. The home was compact, clean and comfortable. The lighting and shower systems were also intuitive to use. There was also a nice minibar, though I didn’t use it. All in all, I felt that Stern am Rathaus was the highlight of my stay in Cologne!

We enjoyed the Bräuerei connected to it so much, we stayed at the hotel again on our way back through the Köln. Probably will stay there again in the future. :-) The Mühlenkräuten Schnapps tastes delicious! Location near Altstadt and the Rhine is perfect. Parking is pay only, in the parking structure through the Heumarkt.

Perfect little room for my single travelling. The gentleman at reception was very nice. The lady this morning serving breakfast was so kind and happy. I got to open the advent calendar for today which was a bit of fun. I have been stressed travelling alone, so it was nice to stay in a safe and comfortable place. The breakfast available was amazing. The location is amazing, a stone's throw away from the central station which is directly linked to the airport, Dusseldorf in my case. I could go around easily by walk to the old city center or to Messe area where I had some business. There is also a scooter/bicycle rental parking some 50m up the road which makes reaching point A-B faster! Staff was amazing, offered breakfast at an extra charge, but it was all worth it as it was very tasty and abundant!
