In an elegant country house, Stanshope Hall features cosy log fires, home-cooked food and pretty gardens. The historic house is in the heart of the Peak District, a 20-minute drive from Ashbourne. The accommodations were perfect for us! The food was delicious!

Dating from the 1580’s, Hawthorn Farm Guest House is set in a Grade II listed house, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Buxton. It offers country-house style rooms and home-cooked food. Amazing host! Paul and Sarah were very helpful throughout our stay. Great breakfast served too! Lovely guest houses built and maintained. Truly a good place to relax and take off your mind off work.

Biggin Hall Hotel is a 3 star AA rated historic Grade II listed house of 17th Century origin with an AA awarded 1 rosette restaurant. It is set within 8 acres of grounds. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Sladen Lodge is situated in Hathersage, 15 km from Chatsworth House, 23 km from FlyDSA Arena, and 25 km from Buxton Opera House. Sladen Lodge is a wonderful property, and Lynne was a fantastic host. It’s located close to the center of Hathersage, and there’s a ton to do in the area. Lynne was very accommodating when I arrived early, and she has great restaurant recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lodge itself was tranquil and peaceful.

Set within 14 km of Capesthorne Hall and 19 km of Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens in Macclesfield, Hilltop Country House offers accommodation with seating area. Beautiful property with a very kind staff.

The Chatsworth Estate Cottages offer self-catering holiday cottages, set across the Chatsworth Estate and throughout the Peak District National Park. Everything was perfect.Central to all Peak District plus beautiful cottage and location.If we needed any assistance the owners were very helpful

Set in the beautiful Dovedale Valley, The Izaak Walton is a 17th-century hotel with spectacular views across the Derbyshire countryside, known for its fishing streams, a log fireplace in the front... Everything about this hotel was just perfect. The hotel is positioned amongst stunning Derbyshire countryside and exudes classic English elegance and charm. The gentleman who managed the evening dining in the bar and breakfast room was professional and friendly. Thank you for the exceptional stay....it certainly exceeded all expectations.

The warm and friendly hospitality that you're greeted with sets the tone for the duration of your stay. Our chefs use the very finest ingredients to create superb cuisine that will suit any palate. Staff were very accommodating and ensured i was able to access dinner despite late arrival. My booking dates changed due to change in travel arrangements but staff ensured i was provided with a great room throughout my stay. I have stayed at bagden hall several times over recent years and always look forward to returning due to the friendliness of staff and lovely relaxing environment.
