I have never stayed in a holiday rental so clean!!! The owner is extremely helpful,friendly and accommodating. When we arrived the cot was mounted and had sheets and blanket on. She made sure we had everything we needed. She gifted a bottle of wine from her own Bottega which was delicious and coffe was provided too. The towels were plenty and the linen smelled lovely. The apartment is very cute and although is on 2 levels the bathroom is on the same level as the bedrooms which I think it's the most important thing. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family as the price/quality is really good.

It is in a small hillside village and therefore very quiet. The property was built over a period of five years by the owner, Alberto, and is immaculate, comfortable and clean and tastefully decorated with artefacts from his travels. There are four bedrooms and a shared kitchen and lounge. The two larger bedrooms have single beds and a balcony and the small ones have a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and although we did not self cater it looked like everything required is there. There is a garden area across the road with tables under cover for sitting and enjoying a glass or two of wine The breakfasts are great value for money with a good spread of delicacies. The village has a restaurant that is open for lunch only. The food is good and reasonably priced. It was always busy and given that it is a place you you would accidentally chance upon it must have a very good reputation. The nearest facilities such as banks, cafes etc are a 10 minute drive down the hill to Labastida or San Vincente de la Sonsierra both of which have numerous bodegas for tasting and purchasing wines. Alberto is a gracious and charming host who, with the aid of Google Translate on our phones, was able to give us the information we required. He owns a small winery and we got to taste and buy a very drinkable Tempranillo. He made our stay most enjoyable

10/10 in everything as simple as that. Nuria is wonderful host which makes the stay feels like staying with friends. The place offers everything to make the vacation comfortable and relaxing. The room is large enough with very comfortable big bed for 2. We got room 6. Very luminous and with big windows. AC perfect. Bathroom excellent. The lobby is large and with lot of place to relax. Billard table, other games and books to enjoy. There is a bar in the lobby with wide selection of drinks. Coffee, fresh cakes and chips available always and for free. There were kitchen equipments to use if we needed to eat dinner or lunch at place in the lobby or at the breakfast room. We really enjoyed dinner twice at the place with some local products and bought wine from the bar. The breakfast was varied and with high quality products. Sitting in the garden with the views were amazing. The pool is not large but more than enough. The place was brilliantly cleaned from outside to very details inside. The village of Brinãs is so beautiful. Nice square with two bars filled with locals and music in the evening which made the place so joyful and relaxing. There are 4 local restaurants we tried two of them which were of really excellent quality local food. The walks by the river under the trees were so enjoyable. The village located perfectly near to a lot of beautiful small towns and villages and only 30 min to Vitoria G. We travel quite a lot and always try to stay in casa rural or agriturismo. The 4 days we spent there were maybe the best hotel/ rural house stays ever. We will definitely return there and hopefully for a longer stay.

This is a very cute old hotel in a tiny hamlet. Very quiet and serene. We were there in a low season, so we were the only people we saw at the hotel. There are a couple of small restaurants/bars in the town, and if you are flexible with when and what you want to eat, you can find something there. Otherwise, Hara is a very short drive away, or a really nice 1 1/2 mile walk away on a beautiful trail along the river. We walked to Haro one day for wine tasting, drove another evening for dinner. We arranged for breakfast the evening before. The table was beautifully set when we went down to breakfast. Food was simple but very good, with fresh fruit and pastries. Great coffee, fresh orange juice, and hot chocolate for my son.

The property was pleasant, with spacious rooms and an elevator. The breakfast room was big and beautiful as well, and very comfortable. Breakfast was correct and tasty, which we enjoyed. The host, Ana, was very nice. Gave us useful advise on what to see and do nearby, changed our pillows to make the bed more comfortable for us when we asked and made us feel at home. We would have extended our stay one more night but the place was completely booked.

We took two bedrooms including the suite bedroom. They were both amazing : comfort, equipment, beautiful decorations... The best of this place was for sure the warm welcome of the owners who provided us with many advices and checked for us with many wineries so we could enjoy a late wine tasting. Eventually, we got a wonderful breakfast with a kind service and very good handmade products. Overall, the scenery of the rioja was wonderful and the small town of Samaniego was perfectly quiet We recommend this place and will for sure be back when we visit again this region.
