The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Delightful. Very clean. Comfortable. complimentary afternoon tea. Breakfast fabulous. Staff incredibly helpful and attentive.

The room was lovely and warm and there was a modern walk in on suite wet-room. The breakfast was fantastic and we needed a walk around the grounds to work it off. It was great to have free access to the castle and to be able to walk around the grounds before and after the day visitors arrived and left. The staff in the hotel and grounds were lovely and helpful.

Set in over 2 acres of beautiful gardens, The Chesterton Hotel is an 18th-century manor house offering a relaxing bar. Its bright, modern rooms feature lovely views over the grounds. Great experience. Friendly and very comfortable hotel.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.
