Boasting a garden and views of garden, Ballyglass Country House is a country house set in a historic building in Tipperary, 25 km from Rock of Cashel. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

This is the kind of hotel I’m always hoping to find. Full of charm in a slightly out-of-the-way location. Don’t expect state-of-the-art, modern amenities, such as USB plugs by the bed. This gorgeously situated hotel has a very special country charm, the likes of which I am rarely so lucky to encounter. Very friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. The popular pub next-door serves food, and was lively and very cozy with the wood-burning stove. The hotel is lovingly appointed with a vast collection of antiques and a sumptuous carpet throughout. Absolutely quiet all night, awakened to soft birdsong. Free parking was another bonus. I very warmly recommend this lovely and utterly charming country hotel.

We had a wonderful experience. After getting lost, Anne met us in a nearby village and guided us to the property, where we were given much love by her dogs. She was very hospitable, going out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Her home was gorgeous, the room very cosy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The surroundings were breathtaking & breakfast was great. We would highly recommend Garrenmore Lodge.

Old-style, charming family-owned hotel in an old country mansion, beautifully located in the countryside close to the Glen of Aherlow and Cashel. The owner was very kind. We enjoyed having dinner at the Forge Bar as well as the very good breakfast served at the hotel.

A very pleasant stay at a country house hotel. I was offered tea and biscuits on arrival and made to feel welcome. The owner recommended a local walk around the Glen of Aherlow and also somewhere to eat in town on a Monday night - it turned out to be the only place open! The room was ample for one person, maybe a little small for two. The hotel bar was cosy and well attended, with a mixture of locals and guests. A very good breakfast in the morning with plenty to choose from the cereals and juices and fruits etc.

Ballyglass is a cosy, country house accommodation. Ruth was a warm and welcoming host, plus she makes the best poached eggs in Ireland, they were like two fluffy clouds on toast, all credit to the chef, and the chicken. It's a quite country home nestled in the beautiful Tipperary country side, and great value for money. I'll be back to explore the walking trails, and have a pint in their snug little pub. Next time I'm back in Ballyglass I'lI make sure to have more time on hand to explore and enjoy the area.
