The owners have turned this 100 year old cottage into a very comfortable place to stay. Inside everything is completely new and of the highest quality. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well-equipped. The great view is a big bonus. Also the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house was really lovely and very comfortable. The atmosphere in the house happy and friendly. Everything was spotless and all possible equipment was provided. The location in the Comeragh Mountains and Nire Valley and easy access to the sea was ideal for all outdoor activities. There are many historic and archaeological sites within very easy driving. We were a family of three generations ranging from 88 years to 6years and we all enjoyed our stay The family who own the house were so kind and friendly to us.

The farmstay cottage was exactly what it said it was. You are on a working dairy farm. It was a little tricky to find, Google came in handy. By the second day we were learning the landmarks. IghlyThe area has it's own rural beauty, and is very convenient to many historical monuments. Castles, abbeys and Cashel are under a hour away. The host Tomas, was able to take time from his busy schedule to answer any questions. We would highly recommend staying here.
