A real gem amidst the hills of Monte Verde, very close to the trails and adventure agencies such as El Tigre Waterfalls. The place is very large and rustic feeling, and the views are just incredible! The beds are extemely comfortable, had a great night sleep after a long day of adventuring, and was very happy to see that the host had a jar of coffee in the next morning. The host is the most understanding and welcoming! Ensure you have cash handy to pay for the stay (I have missed that information and had to make do last minute, but luckily the host was very patient and collaborative). We wish we could have stayed more there! Definitely booking it again if I were to come back! ~ Pura Vida ~

If you are staying at Monteverde this is the place to stay. The host is so thoughtful and friendly although you may need to know just a bit of Spanish to communicate. This is one of the best basically small home you could ever stay in anywhere. It was clean, it was loaded with all the necessary items, as in bedding, kitchenware, a new barbecue, washer and dryer, TV including Netflix in each bedroom and living room. Everything was in tiptop shape, it does not get any better.

The property is great - assuming you are coming to Monteverde to see birds, feel the clouds, and enjoy local foods! This place has it all. Our party of 4 couples had the whole place to ourselves - we did have some noisy convesations and laughters. We did some impromptu shows at the amphitheater - what a cool place. Every morning we saw several guided tour groups setting up telescopes trained to the trees in the property, while we simply stood on balcony, coffee in hand. Andrea was great in getting what we wanted. highly recommended!

We felt really spoiled in this treehouse so closed to the road, but also in the middle of the forest. The main bedroom has 180 views to the forest, while the living room has also a beautiful view towards a terrace. Every morning we had our private birds show in the trees in front of the terrace. My husband was working outside, and the birds weren’t shy at all to sit very closed to him and show of their colorful plumage. We were only two, but the cabin can fit four comfortably. And it has two bathrooms which we really appreciated it. The kitchen had all the tools a cook could dream of, but we only used a few. 😊 Definitely, a place to recharge and enjoy the nature.
