For almost $400 a night we expected the room to be in much better shape… The walls had a huge crusty white patches on them and the room in general was not very clean with a very very old wall HVAC system that made a lot of noise. The view was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

As soon as we arrived, we found the door left opened by housekeeping. Spouse went in to make sure it was safe to go in. Found bugs on the curtains and chairs. During the night, I was bitten on both arms by something causing infection and having to go to Emergency Care. We will not book here again.

We had our 5 month old puppy with us.
We had our 5 month old puppy with us. By the second day she was terribly sick. Found an emergency vet and it turns out she got into marijuana somewhere along the boardwalk. She is making a full recovery thankfully. The vet said they see at least one pet a day for marijuana ingestion. It is now legal in VA so please watch your pets. It only takes a tiny bit dropped.

Virginia Beach boardwalk was awesome, a variety of vendors, sporting events and a complete positive vibes. One of the issues I had about the beach, was the parking situation. Some places were charging as much as $50 to park. Another issue was all of the parking garages spaces were full, I had to park six blocks away and walk to the beach. Other than that I had an awesome experience.

If you enjoy Sand Free steps to beach access and sandy places to wash off your feet at 6am on a Sunday morning your in luck. The only reason I came to town was for the free fishing weekend and the 6am leaf blower blowing sand off the steps to the beach on a Sunday Morning ruined my whole trip. I came in off the fishing pier at Ocean View at 1am and got back to my room and feel asleep by 2am. Then 6am I'm awoken by a leaf blower outside my Ocean view room. I was so angry and frustrated I couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and drove 3 and 1/2 hours home. Plenty of other fishing spots and VA beach ain't going to be one of them.

We stayed at the Sea Hawk Motel and it was beachside and very close to everything! We ended up walking everywhere we went which was very convenient! My kids loved the indoor pool and of course my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub while they swam! The monuments/statues/structures of different things were absolutely amazing to see and my kids even loved looking at them and learning. One thing my kids were a little disappointed in was that there is no sea shells on the beach. But we definitely will be back!!

Please visit Virginia Beach but make sure you reserve well known hotels like Marriott, Holiday In, Courtyard etc. so you can stay at a decent hotel. Stay away from a resort call SUN and SAND RESORT.
The local restaurants are 10/10. We loved all the foods we had.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Responded quickly to all our requests. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ample and the breakfast room was kept very clean. Room was large with plenty of outlets and charging spots. Large TV screen, microwave and a refrigerator and pod coffee maker all in good working order. Excellent shower. Bathroom stocked with all needed supplies. The towels and wash clothes were heavy weight, and the staff gave us extras.
Staying at this Virginia Beach oceanfront hotel was a dream come true! The breathtaking views of the ocean from my room were unparalleled. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making my stay truly memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and free breakfast, exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to return to this luxurious retreat by the sea!

The staff is really accommodating. They helped us set up our campervan. After we left we found out that we've forgotten our laptop and IPad in the room. They send it to us afterwards!

Loved the location, we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. Room was ok, bed was comfortable, the pillows were terrible plastic air filled, luckily we brought our own pillows. Didn’t like that the balconies were not private, everyone on their balcony could see each other. There was no breakfast, just juice and the coffee was weak (maybe I just like it too strong)
Loved the Hampton Inn. Very clean and beds were so comfortable. Right by King Neptune’s statue on the boardwalk and right in the middle of everything going on at the beach and boardwalk. The breakfast was changed up a little every day and the staff were very friendly. I definitely would come back here to stay every time I visit Virginia Beach

Location is about a 5 minute walk to the water on Virginia Beach. Right on the main strip across the street from a 24 hour convience store. Room was clean and price was cheap. Walking distance to about 4 restaurants. Staff was cool . Environment was safe . And my room was clean no bugs I think those bad reviews are haters
This Hotel is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Perfect spot right on the beach. The beach was beautiful and clean. The staff were amazingly helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. This is the only place I will stay for our trips to Virginia Beach. We absolutely loved it.
We chose oceanfront because we had been to Virginia Beach in the past and loved it. The hotel was great and we spent almost all evening after arriving out on the balcony. Breathtaking!! Plenty of towels, average TV, lots of pixelating, though but watchable. Staff was very nice.
Very nice hotel, you can tell they try their best to keep everything clean even though it's right on the beach. It's also fairly new so everything is working and in good shape so far. My family loved it so I would definitely stay here again!

I loved the location, with the hotel being on the boardwalk we were literally steps off the beach. When we got upstairs to our room we were pleasantly surprised, my 4 year old grand daughter said Gigi it's beautiful😁😂😅!!
This hotel is all suites. This worked out for our family to stay there, without needing multiple rooms. The location is also perfect on the boardwalk, being close to restaurants and entertainment.
