Rhinelander is an amazing community with many new businesses and facilities such as the marvelous new Hodag high school sports and community event Dome for year-round activity. The city is growing, renovating and vibrant. A great place to vacation and in the heart of the North.

The only real negative was the paddles for the canoe were missing and one kayak paddle was broken. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING else was on point. Great kitchen amenities. Great open space for eating, playing games and socializing. Great rooms with space to put your things away and get comfortable. AND the lake---late August and crystal clear...it was beautiful. We were blessed to be there during a full moon rising over the lake with no cloud cover...truly gorgeous.

We lived in Rhinelander years ago and will always go back to see friends and family. The town of Rhinelander has everything you could want/need and really is a shopping hub for northern Wisconsin. The area around Rhinelander is the reason to go there. Gorgeous lakes and woods. For dinner, Restaurants 151 and Three Coins at Holiday Acres were excellent. Friendship Restaurant was a great breakfast spot.

Nothing too amazing about the area.
Nothing too amazing about the area. A big fair and concert every year, that's about it. They have a Walgreens, Walmart in case you need those stores. The best restaurant is probably the Culvers. Make sure you check out the visitor's center to see the Hodag!

Year round, Rhinelander has some great things to offer.
Year round, Rhinelander has some great things to offer. From snowmobile trails and skiing in the winter, to swimming, boating and nature trails in the summer. I personally come for the quiet. It is not as hustle and bustle as some "up-nort" yeah hey der, towns can be.
Skipped breakfast, got on the road.
Front desk staff were VERY friendly and offered restaurant recommendations (Rhinelander Pub was EXCELLENT!). Room was close to the stairs (convenient), BUT stairs are VERY DIFFICULT for my husband (needs a knee replacement). We weren't aware that there was no elevator.
Appreciated the TV channel directory in the room.
Enjoyed the Hodags around town.
The location was very good , the hotel was quite and the staff was great. The hotel was very cozy and not to big I didn't have to walk a mile to get to my room.the room smelled very good couldn't even tell you were in a hotel.

The hotel architecture is awesome and it is covered with a lots of trees and lake. It is a great atmosphere. The gift shop is the best building for the hotel resort.
