PT PLEASANT BEACH AND THE SURROUND TOWNS / BEACHES, A LITTLE NORTH AND SOUTH, ARE AWESOME ! GREAT FOR FAMILIES AND COUPLES, AWESOME CLEAN, SAFE NEIGHBORHOODS, ALL A LITTLE MORE THAN AN HOUR FROM NYC !! WHEN YOU'RE IN THE AREA YOU COULDN'T IMAGINE YOUR THAT CLOSE TO NYC AND IT'S GARBAGE AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST AREAS IN THE COUNTRY, DESPITE BEING IN A BLUE STATE THE POLITICIANS ARE TRYING TO DESTROY ! I SAY NOW, THIS POINT IN TIME, THE JERSEY SHORE, FROM BELMAR, TO ORTLEY BEACH, ABOVE SEASIDE, ARE SOME OF THE NICEST BEACHES IN THE COUNTRY, WITH SO MANY GOOD RESTAURANTS, THEY'RE CLEAN AND SAFE ! ENJOY THEM BEFORE WHAT HAPPENS IN ANY MARXIST RUN STATE, HAPPENS THERE ! BUT FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE, IT STILL LOOKS GOOD !

The entire beach in front of Jenkinson's Boardwalk (about 3/4 of a mile of the Point Pleasant beach) was closed due to a pending lawsuit from a drowning that occurred 2 years ago. In my opinion, this is a silly response by Jenkinson's Management to something that should be seen as a risk of doing business in NJ. The Boardwalk was open. Had enjoyable family reunion lunch at Jenkinson's Ocean Pavilion restaurant.

Typical Jersey shore town with beaches, boardwalk, marina, gift shops, and lots to do. Love driving through the small towns to the North, especially beautiful Spring Lake. To the South towards Bay Head and Lavallette you'll find gorgeous private homes on the lagoons and bay. Great vibes!

We had the worst beach weather possible but the boardwalk was very entertaining (albeit really expensive). 1 wrist bank for rides was $47.00 for 3 hours! I thought that was outrageous. Otherwise it was a great trip.

Point Pleasant Beach is still a nice place to enjoy the ocean. The area is clean, the Tiki Bar and Grill has a nice selection of beers on tap as well a variety of tropical prepared drinks to choose from. The grill has the usual food; jumbo franks, juicy burgers, hot fries....etc At night families can take the children to Jenkinson's Amusement Boardwalk, plenty of chance games for the kids to win prizes. Night Life is always hopping at Martell’s while drinking and dancing to the local array of Jersey Shore Bands. Finally, a large hot thick slice of Joey Tomatoes Pizza always hits the spot with their delicious toppings!

The front desk staff was excellent, especially Paulette and Christine. They went out of their way to be helpful and polite. The Pool staff was polite and kept the area clear and clean. Our room at the hotel was exactly what we wanted. It was clean and very comfortable. Additionally, the location of our room on the west side of Ocean Ave. was quieter, and the positioning of the balcony afforded us a terrific view of the ocean. The private beach was nice, too. I've already made a reservation to come back in July.

The staff was friendly, the check-in was simple and efficient and the room was clean and spacious. The heat was great ( this was a mid-December stay ), the hot water was hot and the bed was very comfortable. The table was large enough to spread out any paperwork if I were there for business. The location is a five minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean. I will definitely be back whenever I go back to Point Pleasant Beach.

We were not notified that the Boardwalk was under construction repairs n closed. Telephone numbers left on the door guided us to the Driftwood Motel on Ocean Avenue to stay instead. Thank heavens for Betty Ann at the Driftwood Motel. BETTY ANN saved our 43rd anniversary trip from being a disaster. Gave us a gorgeous room and was wonderful! We will be back Betty Ann! Hope you had a wonderful birthday!

The staff could not be any more friendly and were extremely accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, clean, with the cutest beach decor. Coffee was available every morning for the guests. The view of the beach from our room was beautiful, private beach access, and the pool was great. The hotel, beach and boardwalk was family friendly. We will definitely be going back.

The motel is a great place to stay if you want the ease and comfort of having access to a private beach in New Jersey. I loved that we parked the car when we got there and didn't need to move it until we left. The boardwalk is a 20 minute walk with lots of nice git shops and food choices. The front desk was very nice and helpful. I would defiantly come back to stay.

Pleasantly surprised at the cuteness of this hotel. We only stayed 1 night but the staff was lovely during that time. The room was modern and very clean. We even had a chance to use the onsite bikes to ride to breakfast in the morning before we checked out. The 5 Ocean Cafe & Boutique had very cute beach accessories and iced coffee/ espresso.

The staff at the Pelican were exceptionally nice. The room was spotless I even cleaned it with a Clorox wipe when I went in there and could not find 1 ounce of dust or dirt. They were extremely accommodating with extra towels and toiletries. I never do reviews however this hotel warranted a five star review.
