The room was a good size and everything was clean. The breakfast was a good sustainable one. The hotel was at a good car distance from all the attractions Sea world, La Jolla, downtown San Diego, safari and the zoo. They had a pool and jacuzzi, unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of service, they were fixing it. I would recommend this location.

I lived in San Diego for 30 years and moved out of state. Every time I come back to San Diego I try to stay at this hotel mainly because of the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the room. It’s also handy to the places I want to go.
Free breakfast was very generous. A refrigerator & microwave in the room allowed for leftover breakfast to be "saved for later", and not wasted, thrown out. Beds were great; super comfy. The hotel location is perfect for all attractions including shopping malls.
Great hot breakfast, quiet area, easy and fast check in and out. Lobby, lift and breakfast area was clean. Friendly staffs. Pet friendly hotel! Bonus pet baggie with treats, toy and litter bags. Pool and fitness room open and clean.
The location of the hotel was excellent, very convenient for my work. Overall the staff was friendly, courteous and professional. As I routinely work in this region, I will probably return to this hotel.
They had a great buffet breakfast! Location was good Starbucks was within short walking distance right across the hotel front desk employees were very nice,helpful and answered all of our questions:)
The bed was super comfy, and I liked the remodel of the bathrooms for the Holiday Inn Express brand. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, which was a plus after traveling for a few days.
I liked the location of this hotel. Free parking, good breakfast. Amazing and friendly staff. Everything was great.
