Close to Carnegie Hall and Central Park. Staff is polite, friendly. In my particular case the person at the front desk that checked me in did above and beyond to allow me, given the special request I made and the limited rime I had, to check in a nit earlier despite the system being down. I had a memorial service at Carnegie hall, which is why I picked this hotel and I needed ro check in so I can get to the room and change and prepare so I can be on time. Due to hotel system being down I almost ran out of time as like many others I waded to wait in the lobby. When They approach the person at the front desk (my apologies for jot remembering their name), they immediately understood the concern and checked if my request to get a room ASAP can be accommodated. In 5 minutes I was all sorted! Systems can be down, it happens. It is how the hotel works around the issue, and I was very pleased with that - thank you to that person!!
