Our stay at Max was beyond amazing. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our condo was equipped with everything we needed just as if we were at home. Our favorite thing to do was go upstairs to the Beacon lounge to play games and go out to the sunset terrace. The pool was the hangout and we made so many friends. Big shout out to Lisa and Sean. They welcomed us with smiles and set the tone for our vacation. I can't remember the name of the other gentlemen working. I do know he was from Jamaica and had only been with the Max for a short time. He was extremely helpful with us getting upstairs to our room. We had a lot of bags and he assisted us while my husband parked the car. Thanks again for everything you guys did to make our stay 1 for the books!!!

It was Jeep week at Daytona while we were there.
It was Jeep week at Daytona while we were there. We didn't know how loud and busy the beach would be because Jeeps love to drive up and down the beach all day long. Duane, the owner mentioned it but we didn't know how that would affect sitting on the beach.
We needed to be there for our granddaughter who was attending a ballet conference at the convention center so the location for that was great, but if you want a quiet, relaxing beach experience don't come to Daytona when it's Jeep week.

We enjoy Daytona Beach and go 2 or 3 times a year. We love the packed sand on the beach so that we can ride our bikes and take long walks. There are lot of nice beachfront hotels and restaurants on the water which we love!

Daytona has changed a lot since I visit in 2003 for the first time to 2024 last weekend. The sand is disappearing and the water seems to be too close to the retention walls of the properties. I remember having to walk from the stairs to the water, people where lying down in the sand. Now it is dangerous to do it due to cars passing by too close from people for my liking. Still is one of my favorite places. Still is THE BEACH I LOVE.

There is a lot to see in the Daytona Beach area.
There is a lot to see in the Daytona Beach area. I discovered a new place, The Daytona Beach Aquarium, which is new and expanding as well. Instead of building more for this attraction they did a great job of repurposing a former retail area. I will be revisiting that attraction for sure. Like all areas of the world the climate has taken a toll in recent years, but Daytona area is doing a wonderful job of getting things restored. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that like any place including where you live everyday it is wise to know your surroundings. I attended opening day of the Tortugas at Jackie Robinson Ballpark with my son and daughter-in-law and was delighted to see how the area came out to support their team. There is far more to see and do in that area if you take the time to research what is there.
I honestly liked everything. We enjoyed an oceanfront efficiency on the 6th floor. It was clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable. Housekeepers were courteous. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool was well maintained as well as the pool deck. I have stayed at many different hotels and resorts in Daytona. I found Days Inn to be a good fit for me. The value and location is really nice. They also have a parking garage and free car vacuum!
We have stayed in many hotels in Daytona Beach, as we live in Florida and go away for a few days every couple of months. The staff was very nice. Room felt very clean (I am so glad they don't use bedspreads or blankets). Breakfast was very good, as it is served off of a menu. We had a pool day, and the pool was super clean and refreshing and can order drinks and food. My husband and I will stay there again. I would recommend Holiday Inn Spa and Resort.
Its very outdated. The TV didnt work (I didnt say so), lamp didnt work and the balcony door was hard to close. BUT! I didnt go for to eatch TV and i got 3 days and nights on the beach for the price of 1 night in the other hotels. There were no bugs and it was pretty clean. As the other reviews said the beds are cheap but im over 300lbs and i slept just fine! Great place if you want to wake up hearing the beach crash and not pay a lot for it!
The location was perfect, right on the beach, and we had a 10th floor, oceanfront room, so the balcony view was beautiful. The room was large and comfortable, and it had a fully-equipped kitchen which is rare to find in hotels, ideal for an extended stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the lobby was beautiful with a comfortable sitting area. Also, the pricing is extremely reasonable for what you get.
Beachfront, nice hot tub, walking distance to store on left and dollar store, mini golf in walking distance also to view live alligators but small ones that you can feed and hold for cheap price. House cleaners extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend hotel buying them new vacuum cleaners to clean carpets better had to work with vacuums from what looked like 1980.
I loved that it was right on the beach with beach access. A lot of hotels in Daytona Beach don't have beach access right now. I loved the restaurant! The food was delicious. The pool was very nice and I could swim laps in the morning. The sun deck was amazing and the gym is beautiful with a wonderful view of the ocean from the 12th floor.
This is the first time I have stayed in a hotel in Daytona Beach. The hotel is less than 2 years old and very clean. The staff are very pleasant. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I really was pleasantly surprised with my experience in a 2 star hotel. If I return to Daytona, I will stay here again.
The lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful. Our room was a double bed with kitchen. Very nice, clean. not the Hilton. But is well worth the money. The view of the ocean was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay here We booked another night. We also had a pet with us.
The breakfast was served hot and delicious. The location was perfectly close to everything. We loved that it was a pet pet friendly hotel and it didn’t have a pet smell. The room was very clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the basketball court.
The hotel was in a beautiful quiet location where you could enjoy early morning sunrises and sunsets on the beach or from your hotel balcony. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained, and I enjoyed the Friday and Saturday night DJ.
The view from the room was spectacular, located in the more quiet area of town and away from the craziness of Daytona beach shores. The room was spacious and the hotel itself held itself to a higher standard clearly.
When we arrived there was no wi-fi or internet. However we were put up at their sister hotel, Hilton Gardens which was very nice. They went above and beyond to fully support our needs.
The Hotel is located in front of the beach. You can get the beach just walking.
The bathroom was very clean.
I forgot my AirsPods and staff call me to let me known. This was great!
beach nice but room ok but that was it- moved to Cove luckily after stay here 1/2 price and ocean view?? this with fees more than Cove tropical winds almost Hilton price!!
