The location is ideal! Needed to run to Target a couple of times and it was great that it was literally 30 seconds away. It’s also very accessible to 128 and only 10 minutes from my daughter’s college. I would stay again just for the location! Bed was comfortable, thermostat worked well (very important!), staff was friendly.

Good breakfast- one morning noted a hair in the eggs. If there was a bus or two staying at the motel- the yogurt and chocolate milk was always gone.

Breakfast was great... was a little disappointed with having to pay to park... I did not notice when I booked this hotel... might have chosen something different if I knew there was a parking fee as well.

Danvers is very close to Salem and the accommodations at Sonesta were fantastic. We were so close we decided to Uber/Lift back and forth to the hotel. We were right next door to a shopping center/Mall/restaurants. We definitely would recommend staying in Danvers.

A great jumping off point is you are a history buff.
A great jumping off point is you are a history buff. Danvers was the historic Salem Village in the 16th, early 17th century, They changed the name when township was granted and to try to get away from the bad press of the witchcraft events.

Don’t stay at this hotel. Do not waste your money.
Don’t stay at this hotel. Do not waste your money. Sleep in your car or anywhere else. Horrific experience. Broken safety locks, wires hanging out of the walls, bugs in the room, hair in the tub,. There is no way the room was cleaned between occupants. Spent $150 at Walmart to buy sheets and towels the cause the hotel was so unbelievably dirty.

Such a lovely little place!
Such a lovely little place! Close to everything we wanted to do, but also far enough away that it wasn’t loud or too busy. The historic homes and buildings around are to die for! My husband and I are actually talking about moving up there in the not-too-distant future :-)
Breakfast was excellent, staff was SUPER nice and accommodating - every single one of them which was so great!! Nice walk in shower, and nice fridge and microwave. Bed was super comfortable and hotel was very quiet. Smelled good and clean in the room too. No one bothered us, I LOVE that housekeeping is by request only. Nice, safe neighborhood with some nearby restaurants and only 25 minutes North of Boston. A very good value compared to in the city.
I really liked that was tucked away from the main road. I liked that the inside was full of upgrades and hotel-like touches. Well kept. Although, I quickly noticed a broken bulb before cutting my finger trying to turn on the lap!!! Otherwise, everything was fine. Enjoyed the blackout curtains. Bathroom was nice also. Cable and tv nice too for some late night before sleep entertainment. Thanks.
Clean and spacious rooms, loved the kitchen area (there is silverware and cookware)
Very comfortable beds and overall we would book here again!
The location was perfect! Close to salem, Peabody, downtown boston.. there is restaurants and stores nearby as well.
Bed is a bit stiff and the room smelled like cigarettes. Honestly, my group and I did not really mind, truly only used to hotel to sleep since we were most out and about through the weekend. Great hotel location if you're going for Boston Calling.
For an older hotel they just went through a renovation the rooms are clean quiet very comfortable beds it's in a safe location definitely should be a minimum of a four-star a perfect place for one person or a family vacation highly recommended
The hotel being decorated for Halloween added to the Salem experience! It was very clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I will definitely stay again when visiting Salem!
Great location, very clean Danvers is a great town full of history and very close to Salem, stores very close by and the lady at the front desk was extremely polite and friendly I had an excellent stay 😀
The pool, hot tub, and spa were amazing! The hotel had a lot to do and located close to area attractions. Parking was a bonus too. It was pretty quiet for the amount of guest the hotel had also.
Very helpful staff. We had booked a double bed room as that was the only choice on Booking.com . On the hotel site a King room was available so the Guest services team switched it over.
It was clean and comfortable. We were visiting Salem and this was a more affordable hotel, only a short drive from the sites. Breakfast was limited as far as selection but adequate.
Hotel looked like it was in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was nice before we left. Several items to choose from. Staff were nice when checking in.
