We love Columbus. We have come multiple times and this recent trip was for just a night for a concert. It has one of the biggest Zoos we have ever been to, with a waterpark/theme park option as well. Tons of great restaurants, bars, and fun stuff to do.
Polaris is a great area to stay when visiting. Just 20 minutes north of downtown Columbus, a very nice and clean area with good food options, top golf, good hotel options, and even an IKEA

Traffic is very congested and highways are full of aggressive speeding drivers. The outerbelts are crazy. People have little respect for each other. Modern city with lots of new restaurants and bars. Easton has a lot to offer. Lots to see and do.

I attend the Columbus Ribs and Jazz fest (a 3 day event) when I can. On my first attendance my opinion of Columbus drivers was they are the rudest drivers in Ohio. I won't change that because to do so would be risk to my life. On this last trip I dated the opinion: Columbus drivers are the rudest drivers east of the Mississippi river in America. They have gotten much worse, more aggressive, less respective to speed limits, less respective to interstate right of way at speeds exceeding 70MPH, and the number of rude drivers has gone up by 2,000%. To drive on an interstate in Columbus is more risk than Boston, LA, or San Francisco. And, for no good reason! My next planned trip to Columbus is 'NEVER EVER' and for good reason.

The downtown area is clean and felt safe, which is rare for a major US City. The area we stayed had nearby restaurants and bars. The Convention Center and Nationwide Arena was within walking distance. We definitely plane on returning for a longer stay.

We were in town to attend the Buckeye game.
We were in town to attend the Buckeye game. Columbus has a great downtown with excellent coffee shops, ice cream places, and interesting restaurants. So easy to get around and lots for families to do.
Had a wonderful 6 nights stay. Like home from home. Trelene is so friendly and helpful.. Room was lovely and quiet, bed was so comfortable and overall location was perfect for getting up to the University, local activities and restaurants/bars. Breakfast every morning was such a treat especially the French toast and crispy bacon. Was lovely to sit out the back garden with my tea and book before heading out to explore Columbus. Great experience and such great value with all the personal touches.
Staff was very pleasant. Free breakfast was good - lots of choices from muffins, yogurt, bagels to scrambled eggs and sausages, and even waffles. Convenient and safe location. Hotel was very quiet. Nice gym with treadmill and some other equipment. Rooms were clean and everything worked. Overall, was a good choice for my wife and I for a two night while visiting family nearby.
I didn't like anything at all in this hotel in the room I stayed in 311 there was a lot of water on the floor that came out of the air conditioning, the covers were stained, bad smell I got a room that was non-smoking and there were smokers in my room was horrible stink of cigarettes and no marijuana I recommend it for those with a family and are going for a walk.
Everything. Biggest thing was the staff. They were so genuine and friendly. That alone would bring me back but the facilities were extremely nice too. Delani, Holly and Journey were the best. Needed a vent in the bathroom but other than that, perfect. Keep your prices where they are and I will be back every time I am in Columbus.
The breakfast was amazing, with a variety of choices to pick from. Great facilities like the gym and pool. The room was comfy and a great spacious size for one person with many facilities inside. Hotel very close to Columbus Ohio airport so very convient and efficient shuttle bus service. Would definitely recommend .
The room was a nice size. The room was clean. No bugs!! No issues with other neighbors. I got to use the pool which was clean. Staff was extremely nice. The hotel was close to a lot of stores/ restaurants and gas stations. I found my new fav restaurant Culver’s.
Its in German Village a hip, excellent and safe place in Columbus OH. But the Village Inn is not German Village Inn. It is just Village Inn. Good thing the inside of the room is clean and newly renovated. The rest of the outside is dirty and grimy.
I like how spacious and clean the room was. This hotel is very clean. I really like the continental breakfast. The food selection was good. This hotel is conveniently located to downtown Columbus with several restaurants within walking distance.
Probably the best value for money option in Columbus. Great modern hotel with nice and interesting decor of the rooms (though not so spacious as usually in US) located in the evening district of Columbus with many restaurants and bars.
The close proximity to the Columbus, OH airport (John Glenn International), the free and prompt shuttle service to/from the hotel to the airport; the polite Front Counter employee; the quietness of my room location.
The Staff was very nice, professional and helpful.
The location: the hotel is very close to the airport and the city shopping center.
The bed was comfortable, and the room in general was clean and well equipped.
Property was clean. Room was large and well-equipped. Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The next time we come to Columbus I will plan to stay here again!
Both reception and breakfast staff were very helpful and kind. They definitely make your stay more enjoyable. The hotel is also situated close to the OSU campus and not a far drive from Columbus downtown.
All the balconies the beds was like staying in a mansion for how big and roomy everything is tvs in every room the kitchen was my favorite room. I loved it best stay I've ever had in Columbus
I liked that the hotel was close to the downtown Columbus area. 11 minutes tops, there was construction going on in the area, but it didn't hinder getting to and from my destinations.
