The location of The Rigdon House was perfect. Town is a couple of short blocks away, and there are plenty of good restaurants to choose from. Happy Hour at the Rigdon House in the afternoon was fantastic. Drinks are handcrafted - and are gratis, as part of the room. There are plenty of sitting areas, both inside and outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were so taken with the "house" that we added on an additional night to the length of our stay.

Location right on Moonstone Beach was superb. We watched whales spout from our private patio. At times we felt like subjects rather than guest with communication about rules, but we chose this property partly for the rules. We liked quiet hours, no smoking, no pets, adults only. Charming coastal city with wonderful shops and excellent dining options. Weather was perfect and the people we met were friendly. A relaxed vibe that will help one refresh from the rigors and stress of the daily grind. We will definitely be back in the future.

It was my son's 40th Birthday and the hotel was so accommodating. I wanted to get in the room earlier to put the balloons and cake out and make it look nice.They let me in 2 hrs earlier The front desk was so helpful with everything.Being so close to the beach was a plus! Can't wait to come back and visit!!!

Scenic coastal area, nice pine trees, cute downtown, lots of restaurants and services for a small town. The nature preserve is free so do not pass this up. Close to other scenic areas including elephant seal rookery 10 miles north.

Nice property and very nice lodge.
Nice property and very nice lodge. Very clean and beautiful flowers outside. Near by downtown. The room was very nice because of clean and fire. Good beds and very nice shower. In the evening there was live music in the bar. It was nice sitting insite with the music and singing, but also nice staying in the garden sitting quit in nice corners with a fire pit.

We visit there at least once a year around our anniversary or birthday's. It's a beautiful town and we love the people that live there. We always eat at Sow's Ear and also go wine tasting at near by Paseo Robles. This town never disappoints.
We had a beautiful, spacious, comfortable ocean front room with a patio. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, we slept so well listening to the ocean. One day we observed Dolphins from our patio, last year we saw Humpback whales! Cambria is an amazing town, lots of shops and restaurants, the Scarecrow Festival was taking place during our stay too. I highly recommend staying at the Sand Pebbles Inn
