Nice property and very nice lodge. Very clean and beautiful flowers outside. Near by downtown. The room was very nice because of clean and fire. Good beds and very nice shower. In the evening there was live music in the bar. It was nice sitting insite with the music and singing, but also nice staying in the garden sitting quit in nice corners with a fire pit.

We visit there at least once a year around our anniversary or birthday's. It's a beautiful town and we love the people that live there. We always eat at Sow's Ear and also go wine tasting at near by Paseo Robles. This town never disappoints.

Cumbria is old, sort of worn out, However everything is overpriced. Few hotels offer any type of breakfast other then room coffee machine.
Nice for a day tip. Not worth staying over for high prices of rooms and restraints.

Cambria is a cute town.
Cambria is a cute town. We thought it was just a drive thru street. But the town is larger than what you see. We walked the town and shopped. Several wine tasting shops and antique stores. We were in town for the Cambria Christmas Market, what an adventure. I am so glad we went and recommend to anybody who is in the area at Christmas time. Affordable. Shuttle pickup makes this adventure an easy leisurely stroll. We also went to the 2 cemeteries in town. The town cemetery is old and pleasingly decorated by the families.

Quaint coastal town.
Quaint coastal town. Pleasant views from the boardwalk and clothing short drives to other destinations whether on coastal 1 or headed inland to wineries or pumpkin or lavender farms. 2 to 3 days is plenty of time to take in the surrounding sites and enjoy the rest and relaxation as we deploy from the hustle and bustle of SoCals rat race
Our trip and stay in Cambria was a surprise birthday gift for my fiance, not knowing this was a place she had wanted to visit for a long time, so surely a win for me. The ambiance with the surrounding flowers and trees made the place very serene and calming. The accommodations were nice with a built in rustic feel to the property. The hostess was friendly and informative. The continental breakfast gave us a nice little start to the day.
Its in a great spot overlooking moonstone beach. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but I would say the room was a little "tired'. There was a huge gas log fire which did not give out any heat at all! There is a small patio area that serves drinks (mostly wine) and quite limited snacks all provided by a local restaurant but it wasn't quite what we had expected and though pleasant enough could have been fantastic given the location.
My wife and i have been coming up to Cambria for years and the Sand Pebbles Inn is by far our best experience ever. When so many hotels have taken so much and given so little, this hotel was the cleanest, most accommodating, friendliest staff of all we have stayed at.
Special thanks to Karen and Callie who obviously take pride in their Hotel and how they do business.
Cambria pines lodge is very rustic and beautiful. The grounds are clean and well maintained, there is something pretty around every corner, the lodge was cozy and inviting. we had a great time celebrating a wedding here with friends and family. The breakfast that is included was first rate, very tasty!!! 10/10 would stay here again!!
Lovely quirky hotel on Cambria’s only Main Street. Very attentive staff. It felt like we were very welcome and at home. Garden at the rear is beautiful and the cheese and wine evenings were a lovely added bonus. Breakfast was delightful and for us, very different. All in all a very good stay.
Staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, first hotel on the loop. The rooms were booked with empty rooms on both sides, obviously not possible when busy but nice for quietness this stay. Nice upstairs deck overlooking the beach.
Loved that the room had a balcony that overlooked the babbling creek. The room was newly renovated and felt very fresh and clean. The location was good. Could easily walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Cambria.
Great hotel with all the amenities you need and great location in Cambria. Fire pits were great and a nice addition. Very accommodating to pets and the property itself is lovely. Great place to stay if in Cambria.
Cambria Shores had all the amenities and an awesome view. We really loved Madeline’s and had nice glasses of wine and a small but delicious dinner there. It was a beautiful place to view the coast and the sunset.
Loved the pool, hot tub and fire pits. The whole hotel had a warm hospitable feel. The breakfast baskets to your room were great and so convenient. We would totally recommend it and plan to visit again.
The location of the hotel was exceptional: very little traffic and Moonstone beach right across from it. Parking on the property made it very convenient. Rooms were clean and renovated.
We have been to Cambria many times and the hotel is in an excellent location, Room was what we expected. It will be nice once housekeeping duties start again
Great location on Moonstone Beach. While not a beachfront room, we still had a side view of the ocean, which was nice. The room and bed were comfortable.
