I just love coming to the Howard and Johnson Buena Park, I love the rooms clean and spacious, I love the kind friendly housekeeping staff, their so pleasant makes you feel, comfortable and cared for awesome front desk staff as well.

I love the staff at the entrance and check in the room was stinky bad like raw sewer coming in the drains it kept bubbling and smelled aweful my daughter is scared of heights she didn’t want me complaining because she didn’t want to have to be moved up levels it was on bottom floor and I really hate paying $20 fr parking y’all need to stop that with customers at the hotel it’s rediculous and outrageous

This was a last minute need for a hotel room on a holiday...
This was a last minute need for a hotel room on a holiday weekend so my choices were limited. The staff was excellent with my evening check in and also with checking us out a day early. There was a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. The a/c worked well. The breakfast room has two good waffle makers, cereal, milk, orange and apple juice, toast, coffee, and black tea. The hotel is old and there has been some updating but the age shows and the area is a bit rundown. But the tv has lots of channels and the wifi was very good.

Was clean. Room just needed window open n a small deodorizer. A few creepy people maybe because of great price. Pool n jacuzzi was clean. The table n chair area was clean. Cleaning lady always asked if we needed anything but never had sugar for coffee. Stay was great and near restaurants n stores. Quiet area. I would stay again.

Absolutely the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at and I've stayed at hundreds of hotels. Room was overly dirty, poop on the toilet seat, mold in the shower, shower head covered in dirt, towels covered is grim, mattresses had stains, and sheets had BLOOD Stains! Staff was horrible, no care to make an already upset guest happy and admitted that they knew the condition of the hotel was gross exact words were "this is why I travel with my own sheets and towels". He would not provide me with management name or provide me with his name and hotel number. The hotel lobby had broken furniture in it and a bunch of other items that were poor or horrible quality!!!
The hotel wasn’t horrible but the best thing I can say about it was it’s location. Close to Knott’s. Was told the pool was open, it was not. Room smelled and could have been more clean. Tub did not drain so a shower was more like a bath. Some of the staff was very friendly, helpful and kind, others not so much. Wait times were ridiculous to get help at front desk. Stayed in the suite with a pullout couch, no available bedding in room. Had to wait over 20 mins at front desk just to get bedding. More than likely will not stay here again.
Very spacious hotel. Everything is big - the room, beds, counter space, pool. It was recently renovated so everything was clean and updated. The staff were all friendly and polite. The pool and hottub are amazing, go early in the morning right when it opens at 9am to get the place all to yourself! Location is perfect if you are going to Knotts Berry Farm Park (literally 5 minute walk right next to the hotel).
We were in the area for Darker Waves at Huntington beach, this was way more affordable than the beach hotels and less crowded. It only took us about 30 minutes to get to the festival from the hotel. The room was simple and clean, friendly staff let us check in early since they had a room ready. Two diners right next door for food. No goons on the property bugging anyone. I would stay there again.
The kids loved the swimming pool and the hot tub. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was nice. I especially liked the lighting in the bathroom. It was nice to have two TVs too. It was a great location and close to Knotts Berry Farm which was probably a short 5-7 minute walk and the hotel was also right next door to Medieval Times where we went for dinner.
It was only about 10-minute drive away from Knott’s Berry Farm. It’s surrounded by a lot of different kinds of food options. The room was really nice and clean. The staff were also really friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful hotel!!! lovely amenities, room service and very comfortable bed. you really enjoyed my stay and will definitely consider it my first choice next time I visit.
The hotel is very clean, spacious room, comfortable beds, mini kitchen bar, free parking, great breakfast variety and something different every day, friendly and helpful staff.
They advertise in room coffee. There was none. No breakfast. And you used the outside window. Not at all what they advertise. The room was mediocre at best
