It is a perfect quiet place for resting. Most especially a very perfect place to spend a night when going to Murchison Falls National Park, Fort Portal or Lake Albert. In case one wanted to have a rest after intensive for travel, its a very good place

I didn't spend much time in Hoima, I went to the local village, but it seemed to have everything that I would need. Places to eat, etc..
This is Uganda. Crazy traffic, crowded on the main streets with plenty of activity that goes on late into the night.
