The place is good, the service is excellent and the owners care about you. They even don't bother if you take the scooter to the airport to carry your luggage and leave it there, amazing.

老闆 and the Blueshine team were so very kind and attentive, from my arrival to my departure, I felt like I was staying with good friends or family! My room was clean, comfortable, and true to the pictures posted on line, including a beautiful view of the ocean. I'm a vegetarian so the owners provided a nice vegetarian breakfast (I recommend letting the owners know when making a reservation so they can prepare in advance!). 老闆 and his team also introduced me to some some of Beigan's top destinations, including a 'blue tears' top spot (though they were very small because of this time of year) as well as Beigan's amazing night skies! Overall, great value for money. And super hospitable owners and staff. Many thanks for their professionalism, experience, and sincere interest in my happiness and wellbeing while at the Blueshine B&B! An easy 10/10, I hope to return in the future with friends and/or family! Kia ora!

We loved the beautiful and convenient location in Chinbe village. Staff were extremely helpful, kind, and friendly, they helped us arrange trips to see Daqiu deer island and a nighttime boat trip to see the Blue Tears. The room was clean and comfortable. We slept very well. We loved driving around the island on the motorbike we rented from the property.

Host was very helpful in multiple ways and concerning our whole stay (not just accommodation); for example, he gave us early warning and recommendations regarding an approaching typhoon which eventually led to ferry and flight cancellations but we were still able to leave the island on the day as planned
We truly enjoyed our two day stay on Beigan. The owners of our homestay in Qinbi, 芹壁幸福海岸民宿-民宿編號051, were very hospitable. Beigan is a nice combination of nature, culture, and military history. The highlights of our stay were hiking the Luoshan Nature Trail, eating lunch at 金魚水手作坊, drinking tea while enjoying the views from our homestay, taking the ferry to see the sika deer on Daqiu, and getting to see the "blue tears".

Compared to the main island of Nagnan.
Compared to the main island of Nagnan. Beigan is more authentic and quiet. Nangan does have more to offer, in terms of comfort but Beigan is more authentic. Definitely check out the stone villages. It is easier if you have a scooter, but you can rent a taxi for the day or take limited bus schedule.

Beigan is quaint and sleepy.
Beigan is quaint and sleepy. The scenery is beautiful, and people are very friendly. Qinbi village is picturesque, and there are several eateries in town with a great vibe. Just offshore is a sika deer sanctuary, which makes a nice half-day trip. It's a great place to stroll around and explore. It's also possible to rent a scooter to travel around with, a must if you want to stop in all the little villages or walk the nature trails at either end of the island. Ferries only run between Beigan and the main island of Nangan, not to the other Matsu Islands, so do bear that in mind if you plan on traveling to the farther-flung islands.
