Beautiful lake among the green Valleys. To do up the valleys * Kayla - to see scenery is a must. Dursun Ali İnan Museum was amazing. For me it is amongst the top 10 Ethnographical museums in Turkey.
Just avoid high season full of Arab tourists and places made for them that is irrelevant with Uzungöl, polluting surrounding beautiful nature and Turkish culture.
Recommend to paraglide and enjoy the incredible view from the air.

If you come to Uzungol Lake, Do NOT stay at the Royal Uzungol Hotel Spa Restaurant. We visited the hotel to celebrate Ramadan / Eid 2023 and the hotel staff ruined it all for us. They refused to open any amenities and the entire hotel was ice cold; we were the only people staying in the hotel so they decided it wasn't worth it for them to turn on the heater for the hotel; heat the pool; turn on the sauna / steam room and activate the satellite channels. The worst hotel experience I ever had in any hotel I have ever visited.

the area is nice actually is very good but not for more than two nights, if u don't want to do the activities that offer there, so one night is enough, u spent the day around the lake and visit some near attractions and night enjoy the in the center and have dinner. that's all in auzngul

It is very crowded and this may ruin the experience for many. Also, the weather was not ideal. It was cold and rainy in the middle of the summer with constant fogs that blocked the view. Also, everything is overpriced there.

Uzungol is a very beautiful place alongside a lake and in between mountains. I would highly recommend KOM CAFE not because of its food but because of its amazing view from the top that overlooks the entire place. However, the food was twice as expensive and not as good as in the city. Overall my experience was mainly good because of its uplifting and peaceful environment and scenic beauty.
My stay at Kar Hotel in Uzungol was fantastic! The breathtaking view and tranquil atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The included breakfast was delicious and served with perfection. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Kar Hotel for anyone looking for a serene retreat in Uzungol.
The breakfast was Excellent!! Full marks to our host Mr. Erdogan. It was heartening to see he was promptly carrying out multiple roles (Receptionist, Room service, Chef) with a smile on his face.
Great location with the best view of the lake. If you are shopping for some good handicrafts, this is the place. The shops are right beside the hotel.

The breakfast was not included with our room purchase. The hotel was good but the location was a little far from the lake which is 2-3 mins of the drive. I highly recommend having a car as the road to the lake is quite narrow and steep which might prove to be difficult by foot.
- The hotel owner is well mannered and professional person and very helpful.
- Great rooms and amazing coffee in the ground floor, it honestly was the prettiest hotel in Uzungol.
- The staff are very helpful and they can arrange cars for you.
We have booked and stayed for three nights in this hotel in One Bedroom Suite With Mountain View. The hotel has an elevator which make it easy to live upstairs. It’s located in 10 min by walk from uzungol lake and has its own car parking area
The breakfast was one of the best we had in Turkey. A Swiss looking log building with ample parking and easy to get to. The staff are accommodating and helpful. Close enough to the village to walk there and back.
The staff (Saleem) was super kind and sweet.
The room was spacious, clean and comfy with a nice balcony to relax across the river.
I definitely look forward to going back to uzungöl and book the same hotel.
