The location was great, close to Üçhisar Castle and with a view over the famous Cappadocian Valleys where the majority of the balloons fly. The hotel is clean and modern. The breakfast was great with multiple options, not just Turkish style. We had no trouble parking right at the door of the hotel during the multiple days we were there. The beds were super comfortable and spacious. They gave us free water and tea which was nice. The staff always helped us when we needed.

We didn't spend much time here, but easy flight from Istanbul. Convenient for the balloon rides, but not directly in the town they fly from. A preferable location if you want a little more peace and quiet, and enough choices for dining. Lovely to walk around and spectacular views from many parts.

Uchisar provides great access to all the sights of Cappadocia. Our stay at La Casa offered the perfect mix of cave/building and was in a great location. The breakfast was excellent. The close by Janti Cafe is also excellent, highly recommend. One thing to note is that google gets a bit confused with the one way streets, but once you get the hang of navigating in Uchisar, it is very easy to get around and you can see the castle from many of the nearby hiking areas.

It worked great for us.
It worked great for us. We had a rental and wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the busier Goreme. If you don't have a car and are staying in Cappadocia for the first time, perhaps Uchisar is not the best option since it will limit your walking distance options of restaurants, shops and tour agencies, we loved it though and found it to be the perfect homebase to explore the region. It seems like some of the more exclusive hotels and restaurants are also in Uchisar so it depends on what works best for you.

Small town area next to the rock castle.
Small town area next to the rock castle. Quiet, with lots of restaurants. The top of the mountain has more shops and art galleries to see along with cafes. Once you step out of the area it is mostly desolated and filled with caves. There is lots of new construction going on in the peripheral area. We ate at the statehouse around our hotel and it was great. A bit expensive but gourmet like treatment. The open air museum is only 10 min away and the castle is right in the center of Uchisar. Slightly away from the crowd of Goreme, Uchisar was just right. The property was close to the castle which made it convenient. The pigeon valley entrance is a km on foot so makes for a great walk. Personally between Goreme and Uchisar, I preferred Uchisar as it's quieter and had more luxe options. Also the views were amazing and we spent quite a bit of time sitting in the terrace taking in the country air.

Uchisar is an incredible small town with a beautiful medieval section that is wonderfully thriving. Clean, friendly, with laid back dogs roaming the streets, and the home of Uchisar castle. Pigeon Valley has its own mystique and overall the town touches something inside of you that makes you want to stay longer.
We wanted to stay in a cave hotel and this property did provide a cave. During our stay in cappadocia, all balloon services were fully booked and I don't know how the receptionist managed to hook us up.
My father was lost and the receptionist helped me out so appreciate that as well.

Beautiful property, they have a path to the pigeon valley right outside of the hotel and 1km away from the evil eye tree. Highlight of our stay would definitely be the staff though I am glad we also got to living in a cave experience.
We had a beautiful time in Capadocia, and a big reason for that was our amazing stay in Ahiyan Hotel. The hotel is small and private, and its calm vibe matches with Uchisar's peaceful character. Our room was large and comfortable and it made me want to skip the adventure and sleep a few more hours. Also the breakfast was fantastic, everything fresh and made in the moment. Special thanks to Fatma in reception for helping us orientate around Capadocia 🙂

It’s a very nice and convenient place to stay during a trip in Cappadocia. Parking in front of the hotel, but it’s in walking distance to every places to visit, just 5’ to Uchisar castle, 10’ to Uchisar hashtag symbol, 13’ to pigeon valley, so we didn’t really need to use car. The hotel owner was very nice and welcoming. The room was spacious, with all needed amenities, the bed was pretty comfy as well. The breakfast was included in the room price, and was large with various kind of cheeses, ham, eggs, jams… Totally recommend it!
Absolutely the best place to stay in Cappadocia! Gorgeous morning sunrise views before enjoying a nice breakfast. The service was amazing we were always greeted and had lovely conversations with reception, especially Mustafa, and they were available 24/7. Upon checkin we even got informed of a free room upgrade!! They arranged parking right outside for our rental car. The cave suite was so luxurious and romantic with an amazing relaxing jacuzzi, a Turkish bath room and more. Amazing stay!!!
Probably the most beautiful and delicious hotel breakfast we've ever had! We felt a little wasteful not finishing it every day because you get lots of cheeses, jams, breads and they cook you eggs to order as well as cheese bread that is similar to a quesadilla. The day staff was very kind and helpful to set up tours and give information.
We had an issue with our cave room and they were able to come up with a solution.
I loved that it's a small guest house with just a few room. The place is so clean and beautiful, we could just stay in all day and just stare at the beautiful view. You get the view of the valley, you can see Goreme and the Uchisar castle. The owner and her staffs are great people and we loved chatting with them. They really took care of the place and their guests. Breakfast was perfect. I wish I could stay longer.
I love the decoration of the room. We stayed in Orchid room for 2 nights. it's beautiful, cosy and clean. The owner and the staff are very attentive. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Uchisar is a lovely town. You can see Uchisar Castle and panoramic view of the town from the hotel. We didnt see any balloon due to the weather condition, we still had a wonderful time. Cappadocia in winter is kinda magical!
Everything was wonderful and up to my expectations. Very clean and spacious rooms. Excellent location. And above all the level of service was magnificent. The best part of our stay was the personal care and kind hearted staff. They appeared to love their job and they really treated us with much care. We truly thank them all. Great location!! Minutes from uchisar castle and the goreme craziness. So quiet and an oasis after dealing with the bad traffic on the short but narrow and congested drives to the tourist spots. Big ample parking, huge bathroom and great bedroom. The best hot breakfast we had in Turkey in this trip.

The property is truly a dream. The room we stayed in was genuinely the most beautiful room on earth. It was so gorgeous and immaculate. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, the location was mind blowing, and the staff, namely Berk, were beyond amazing. The staff are very diligent and friendly, always willing to meet your expectations. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, good wifi. Really lovely and helpful owner and his family. The breakfast was delicious with lots of salads, hot foods, biscuits, breads, tea and coffee. The hotel is in the perfect location just 10 mins from Uchisar castle and 5 mins from a bus stop with regular buses to göreme and Nevsehir. The rooms and showers were great.
The welcoming at the hotel was wonderful. Everyone who works there (and that I had the pleasure to meet) is very friendly, respectful, efficient and well-organized. They helped me with everything: booking a tour, transfers and pick-ups (airport and hotel,) where to go and what to do while in Uçhisar.
The hotel is in the highest point of Uchisar and it is perfect just to see the baloon from the terrace in the morning.
