This is the second time I stay in this hotel. The reception is very elegant, the rooms are spacious and clean, and have a large balcony. The view of the sea, the swimming pool and the garden is wonderful. The shower is spacious, the food is delicious and varied, the service is excellent. The hotel’s location is on the highway and very close to the airport. It has a full view of the sea and is close to marine activities, cafes and restaurants, but He needs a car to go to the old city

It is a very beautiful place! We loved the waterfalls, lakes and the mountain areas! Uzungol was amazing. The cave was also very nice we loved the aya sofia and black sea, the parks for kids.
We had our own car so was really easy to travel around the city.

I'm really pleased I decided to go north and see Trabzon. Easy flight from/to Istanbul and the airport is only a few minutes away.
NB: if you're flying around Turkey your luggage allowance is likely to be quite a bit less than for your international flight into Turkey - depending on your ticket type.
The town itself is quite busy - in a good way - not overwhelming. Lovely central park square. Plenty of eateries, shops and market stalls.
I was only there 2 nights so booked an organised day trip to the Sumela monastery - be prepared for a bit of a walk, caves, the glass balcony, etc. It's worth doing a bit of comparison checking on who you go with: some tours are all in, some do not include entrance fees.
It's really beautiful and lush and totally different from Cappadocia and the south. Tried traditional rice pudding and the sweets made from boiled fruit.

Traffic in the city can get a bit overwhelming for tourists who rent a car, but people are very friendly and patient.
English is not spoken in most shops or restaurants, but people try help the best they can.

Excellent infrastructure and natural beauty. Highly recommend to go on far away destinations(like Ayder etc.) with tour companies because public transportation is indirect and for a limited period of time. Always keep with your backup items for possible night stay

Trabzon is very nice place to visit. Cuisine and the vibe is lively. Some other tourist spots though are far from the center. But it is the travel experience that matters, so I really recommend to visit.
The location of the hotel is great, close to Meydan and to the most famous street in Trabzon and just 10-minute ride to the airport. The rooms are spatious and clean. Blankets are changed everyday and you have water and coffee/tea that you can enjoy with a view of the black sea. The breakfast is nice and variated. The staff are kind and polite. They speak good english (which is something rare in Trabzon). There is a market just in front of the hotel.. We are satisfied with our stay in this hotel and we highly recommend it.
The hotel has spacious and clean rooms with a wonderful view of the sea. The breakfast on the top floor of the hotel is varied and good. The most beautiful dining is with a full view of the sea. The lobby is very beautiful and has Gloria Jean’s coffee, a pizza restaurant and a supermarket. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, especially the employee, Taifol.. The city center is 20 minutes away. I have a car It's normal for me, if I go back to Trabzon I will come back to book it
We’ve stayed 8 nights, wide rooms, wide saloon and fully equipped kitchen side, everything was new, clean and property with private fenced cars parking. The sea view is very clear, the owner “Abu Arin” is running the Zal Suites, he’s cheerful, helpful and available 24/7, price is valuable, property is close to airport and trabzon city center, walking distance from Forum Mall, I would recommend it for future stay for sure, I have all positive experience about it. This is a relatively small hotel in a relatively central location, just about 7 kms from the airport and close to all sights in Trabzon. The owner, his family and employees take good care of the guests. They serve lovely Turkish breakfast with omelette cooked to order on an open balcony with sea and city views. Clean rooms, decent prices. Nothing not to like.
Breakfast was the best on top with beautiful view of black sea, parking just front of the hotel gate. Good for people who just want to stay for a night in trabzon before they leave to Rize region next morning. Specially with tired kids from a long flight as its not very far from trabzon airport(18 mins approximate) and on your way to rize region
This was the best hotel that i have stayed in Trabzon in terms of hospitality, cleanliness, price, and food. I was charged twice by mistake which i wasn’t aware but Mr. Abdullah was so friendly and honest, and the manager refunded my money. They upgraded me to the newest branch near Trabzon airport - Sulduz Hotel Apart.. A very new apartment, very big and spacious with everything included.. Breakfast was great, the owner even treated us like friends. Apartment was very clean.
