I first went to Pamukkale in 1990 and I can not remember having to pay to get in only having to pay to get into the Roman Baths, which you now pay extra to swim in. I also remember that you could pretty much go wherever you wanted, sitting in the pools. Now it is £30 to get in and the water has been diverted away from the natural pools to help keep people away. The only pools you can access are man made on the slope from the entrance or exit to town. We had however, came for the hot air balloons which were excellent and I highly recommend.

I had a brilliant time here....went to Hieropolis and did a hot air balloon ride with Pamukkale Ballons/Tiger Balloons, (booking was with Pamukkale Balloons, crew and certificate were Tiger Balloons) which was amazing...just so much fun!. Also had a great Turkish breakfast at a small cafe next to the tour office. Everyone was so friendly, I would highly recommend a visit

    The Travertine Terraces was amazing.

The Travertine Terraces was amazing. The hot springs was also good. The views are beautiful. Next was the ancient city of Hierapolis nearby. It is vast and to enjoy it, take your time and spend the day walking around. A lot of walking though not if you don't like walking the do rent golf cart If you like Turkish food, the local cuisine is authentic and they have Mom and Pop restaurants that have home cooking

It is a very beautiful and peaceful area.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful area. It's a good idea to include Pamukkale on your Turkey visit route. One day should be enough. Note: entry to access the thermal pools is expensive but covers a very large area. Consider knowing if they have water so you don't make a trip in vain.

The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting.

The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting. The rest was a huge disappointment. We were unable to see any similarity with the tourist promotion photos. The white thermal pools with blue water can barely be seen. Cleopatra's pool is a trap for tourists. Extra payment is required. The thermal pools are artificial, slippery and full of tourists. We have to walk barefoot on aggressive flooring. The entrance at the bottom next to the city is a mistake. It requires you to walk up barefoot for more than 500 meters on very harsh ground for your feet.

Behavior of the staffs was excellent. Their helping attitude, positive approach towards any issues totally praiseworthy. The rooms were clean and regularly cleaned by the staffs. It was totally valued for money. Very near (300m) to the Pamukkale Entrance. We ordered food from the inside hotel restaurant which was also good and worthy. View from the hotel is as shown on Booking.com. Rooms images shown in this site totally matched in reality. Highly recommended for family with children and also for group/budget Travellers.

First, the host is super kind: he arranged for us the early check in in the morning (at 11!) and gave us a deluxe bedroom instead of an economic one because we cannot have the breakfast in the morning, and gave us sandwiches, fruits, juice and water for the next day (we leaves very early) Swimming pool area is the perfect place to relax during hot summer days. We suggest you to have dinner in the hotel because Pamukkale has not so much to offer and because the food we had was one of the best during our holiday in Turkey.

The view, location, and hotel were top notch, but the service and advice provided by the family that owned it made our entire visit to Pamukkale worth the trip. They recommended walking the travertines around sunset for optimal photos and wow were they right! They also recommended an amazing spa in the nearby town of Karahayit that we spent the entire day relaxing at. Hotel Sahin doesn't just have a great a location, but it has truly helpful staff who will go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Easily arrive to this hotel by bus from Denizli. There is a bus station nearby - Cross a road and pass another house and arrived. Very beautiful and good breakfast. There is a rooftop view to see hot air balloon during breakfast time. They helped us keep our luggage for the day we visit pamukkale until we leave at the late afternoon. There is also swimming pool but due to weather still cold, no water is fill at the time of visit. Good value at my time of visit, low season in mid February.

The best hotel I ever lived in during my whole trip in Turkey. It is definitely a great place for vacation. Don't let the picture fool you, the hotel is much better than what shows on the website. The room is relatively large and well furnished with a small balcony. The food they offered is great. And even there's a small swimming pool here! But bear in mind the hotel is not located in a great place. you might have to depend on taxi and transportation that the hotel offered.

This was my 5th visit of Turkey and I usually visit more places and book more than one hotel during my stay and Aspawa was definitely the best place I have ever booked in Turkey. It is family owned and they are so friendly and very helpful. Best atmosphere and approach. Rooms are comfortable and clean and food is tasty and for affordable prices. New rooms are done very nicely and worth to pay bit more for them. Definitely recommend this accommodation.

There are only 2 good things about this hotel. The first one is the pool and the thermal water and the second one is the time at when breakfast is served (6:00), so you can be very early at Pamukkale if you wish to do so. However, taking into account the quality of the food they serve here, probably you will skip breakfast anyway, so the breakfast time is not that useful.

Very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. The best hospitality experience I got in Turkey so far.
