One of the best locations downtown. If you travel by car and have a busy sightseeing schedule you are right across ferry station and the hotel has a backyard parking lot, which is a deficit amenity in the block. Helpful staff.

If you want to spend 1-2 days in the city, this hotel is the best choice. Ideal location - city center, close to the pier, fortress and embankment. There is convenient parking nearby. The hotel itself is charming in its design and personal approach to guests. The breakfasts are impeccable. The windows overlook a busy street, but for some reason the cheerful night noise from the street does not particularly interfere with a good night's sleep.

We drove to the city center and took pictures of the Trogan horse used in the movie of Troy. There are restaurants and pastry shops all along the waterfront. It's a great place for dinner and an evening stroll. We only walked along water front so I'm not able to comment on the rest of the city.

Really nice city, with good restaurants, a lot of shops and good people, it was also near to two turkish islands Bozcaada and Gökçeada, we got to visit Bozcaada and it was really lovely however the only possibility to get to the port is by car or bus. We loved the Naval museum, but you need around an hour-hour and a half to really visit everything.

Seaside city with wonderful views, nearby convenient public beaches, historical sites.
Wandering around in Ancient city of Troy and watching sunset over Assos hilltop on Athena Temple with Seaside view were great and not to miss.
The dardanelles strait is beautiful on both sides and recommend to cross it with ferry boat for a soothing experience.
Do not forget to try local seafood, calamari and sweets of peynir helvasi.
Just watch out that on Monday some museums are closed.

Canakkale is MUCH cooler than what we expected.
Canakkale is MUCH cooler than what we expected. I recommend at least 3 nights there. We visited Gallipoli and Troy in one day but wished we had more time to spend just hanging out in Canakkale the town. Very young, cool population due to the university. Great places to go out at night also.
Little cosy hotel, the room was clean, it had everything a tourist needs. The Turkish breakfast they serve is the best I have had during my trip in Turkey. I guess that the nice little terrace where the restaurant was helped, but the food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented . We had pastry, cheese, olives, omelette, bread, butter and jam, peach juice and Turkish tea. It was more than enough.
The hotel is in a good location only a few minutes walk from the boardwalk and the ferry terminal. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is great too. We sat outside and talked for several hours. They even helped me to set up a Gallipoli tour for the following day and gave me instructions on how to get to Troy using the minibus. Definitely recommend.
The hotel is situated in the port along with a beautiful view over the seafront. Downstairs you have the restaurant where you can enjoy turkish cuisine and of course the morning breakfast. The room was very comfortable and can easily accommodate a family of 3. With a 1 minute walk to the Troyan Horse its definitely a place to return on our future quests in Turkey.
The hotel is extremly clean, cozy and nice decorated which make you feel in a home not a hotel and that's nice. The host was very talkative, welcoming and prepared a delicious Turkish breakfast and first of all he tried to make us feel comfortable due to the fact that some people from neighborhood were too noisy.I recommend "the abies" hotel.
This hotel is highly recommended, rooms are spacious and very clean, staff are extra polite and respectful and spoke English which is a plus in turkey, breakfast was the best. In short I am a frequent traveler and I usually like to stay in 5 star hotels and this hotel was one of the best hotels I stayed in.
The location was close to everything and the hotel provided parking. The Staff are very friendly and kind. I only stayed the night as I was en route to another destination, however I would stay there again as it's close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Great location for exploring the city.
It is a very good location for transit to the south of Turkey. By car, you can reach the tourist center of Canakale in 5 minutes.
The area is quiet.
It is a very spacious apartment, with 3 rooms and many beds. The owner is very kind.
The value for money is very good.
It's an exceptionally quiet place, surrounded by olive gardens. It's a brand new hotel run by a family. The owner was on premises, I had a nice conversation with him. What else. Lots of space and convenient parking. Fish dish for dinner was heavenly!
Who asked me to drink Bundaberg?
I think he is the first and only Turkish to use vegimite for breakfast. Although it is very difficult to find someone who speaks English in Turkey. I think the only Turkish who knows Australian culture
The hotel is recently renovated, everything is new and very clean.
Interior design is lovely and the personell was very nice.
Very good restaurant at the first floor.
Thank you!
Will come back for sure if we get to Çanakkale again.
The room was spotless and the beds were comfy!
The staff was nice and polite, although they couldn't speak English well.
We parked the car behind the hotel. The hotel is in a good area and we didn't need the car to explore around.
Great location near the ferry. Very helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. We were upgraded to a triple seaview room. Very good shower which seems to be an exception in Turkey. Lovely and warm in very cold weather.
Good location, near ferry and the old city area, the room cleaned daily, the staff was helpful, even that not everyone of them spoked english. In fact, in all that part of Turkey the know only turkish language.
This hotel deserves it's very good reputation. It provides excellent service at reception. Location is great and the breakfast was very good. Shower was one of the best we've had in Turkey.
The cheapest hotel in Canakkale, for the budget conscious. Yes, small rooms. But, two comfortable beds, hot, powerful shower, and it's quiet. Staff are friendly and I would stay here again.
Excellent hotel in a quiet area of the city center a few steps from the ferry terminal. Also near the hotel there are all the main attractions as the Troy's horse and touristic places.
The staff and the breakfast was amazing. Possibility of a hotel car to take you to the City. Very clean compared to many hotels in Turkey. Spacious rooms.
