There was no food available, which did not really bother us. The location is not close to major attraction, again did not bother us. We needed that location so it was perfect for us.

We had one of the two chalets in a quiet garden by the main house. Jiraporn lives in a third chalet on site. Pre-visit communication was good, relevant, and in clear English. Her welcome was efficient, and answers to our quesitons were clear and helpful. The chalet is a large single room with a simple kitchen and sofa/TV and attached bathroom. Effective aircon. Spotlessly clean. Outdoor table and chairs on a covered patio. Free bicycles. We used the foot/bike ferry some 400m away to get to the town, and the local market for a very simple Thia breakfast. We had a strong sense of being in the countryside. There were several restaurants within a few minutes drive on this side of the river, and central Kanchanaburi is some 10-15 away in the evening.
