We stopped here on the way from Phuket to Koh Lanta so only stayed one night but could easily have spent more time here. Very friendly and welcoming staff, spectacular pool and garden, very spacious and comfortable rooms, good food at the restaurant. Location was great too!

I needed to stay here for a few days because my regular AT SEA condo accommodation was booked. The hotel is located at the top end of the main street of Klong Muang.
It was an easy stay. The rooms are basic and clean and everything works fine with simple interior design. WiFi is strong.
The rooms come with or without a balcony (that overlooks the pool). The nightly fee reflects this difference.
Apart from a simple sign at the front (see photo) the Aspira doesn’t look much from the street - but I understand they have plans to upgrade and renovate. So I imagine the exterior facade will improve.
As of APRIL 24, the hotel has been open a few months. Its best feature is being next to my favorite Thai restaurant called THE TERRACE Authentic Thai Seafood.

This curved stretch of sand is what comes to mind when the word ‘beachcomber’ is mentioned.
Its just a laid-back, sleepy almost uninhabited beach that has an amazing amount of sea shells scattered along the shoreline; especially when the tides change.
It's only a few minutes walk if you are staying AT SEA condo.
But the reason why most people visit the beach in the late afternoon is to experience the always awesome sunsets.
From families to professional photographers with tripods and scene setups, this is where many of those iconic pictures of thailand beach culture originate from.
The name klong muang translated means “purple canal” but I cant see any evidence here :)

Good places to sleep and eat If you are looking for - the are a lot of attractions / day trips / boat trips. Very calm and different atmosphere from Ao Nang - so we liked it better. One main steer with restaurants, massages, travel agencies, etc. Less touristic and crowded than Ao Nang

Lots of places to eat and drink - we particularly enjoyed the Mexican next to the Varana hotel.

A great quiet location with plenty to see and do and good access to tours to the many islands. There was plenty of good Thai restaurants on the beach, however, The Rimlay Restaurant was by far the best food with great service and great sun sets as well.

Beautiful little gem of a beach. The water was super clear and although it is rocky when the tide goes out when it comes in you can swim no problem and the water is divine. We swam everyday and had plenty of shade to sit and read. We left our stuff to go in the water and felt super safe. There were a handful of people walking past and some Thai families using it also. You felt like you had space and could enjoy the nature around you. Really beautiful view with a small island in the distance and the limestone cliffs and islands on the horizon. The sunsets are really wonderful and there were perfect massage shacks looking onto the water and friendy little street food restaurants selling cheap local foods and shakes opposite our hotel. Would certainly recommend this if you want a peaceful stay away from crowds. Great for individuals, couples and families. Felt really safe there.

Beautiful beach! Turquoise water and soft sand perfect for our relaxing stay just wish it was longer. We saw loads of crabs on the beach very tiny but cool. Places for food and massages along the beach too

We had a deluxe that was stunning in size, comfort and facilities.
Hotel is stylish, clean, spacious, comfortable.
Breakfast buffet is large and offers diverse range of dishes.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Pool is lovely and the beach is obviously a real highlight.
A mention for Andalay beach bar next door too - food and drinks excellent and fire shows at the weekend.
Make sure to visit Ao Nang night market - staff can arrange taxis.
We had the 3-bedroom Top floor villa for over a week and it was very hard to leave. It has a million-dollar view to die for.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with everything you need for the family to cook or prepare the street food. Large fridge was very useful. A very quiet area compared to Ao Nang with the beach across the road and good quality restaurants everywhere. The private pool was checked and treated every 2nd day which kept it perfect.

The room was basic yet clean, which was exactly what I wanted. Had a wonderful view of the beach from our balcony as well as the breakfast area, where a few friendly cats lounged. The owners were really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was simple but delicious. We leisurely strolled up the shore to several wonderful bars and restaurants. The 7-11 across the street had everything we needed, including first aid and sunblock. There were several options for massages and mani-pedis in walking distance.
This hotel is really a 5 star standard. Everything is brand new and top quality. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The food and drinks also top quality. The staff go above and beyond to provide a great service, from the reception to the room service to the restaurants. The spa treatments are also exceptional. The Olympic sized swimming pool and gym encouraged us to do exercise, which we enjoyed. After a day out and about, it was always such a pleasure to return back to this hotel.
This is super nice hotel, with beautifull rooms, gym, pool areas. Sad we stayed only 5 days, could be more. The breakfast nice, full of options. Staff very polite, morning and afternoon activities also nice, do rock climbing , streaching, mui thay. The olimpic pool is just wonderfull. Bigest recomendations. Beach is also very cool, have good music, good vibe, not too much people. Keep in mind that in the evening there is low tide, But all in all very nice.
Cozy little hotel, only 7 units, all surrounding the gorgeous pool. Which was surrounded by beautiful jungle plants, trees and flowers. Clean, comfortable rooms with everything you need. Super nice staff. The hotel is tucked away in a nice, little neighborhood, just 10 minutes from everything. Beach, great restaurants, massage, groceries, etc. We had such a great stay, we extended for 8 nights total!
The room was well equipped, very clean and spacious. The balcony was a nice addition to all! The staff, specifically the lady at check-in is so helpful and kind. Recommended us places to eat that were really worth it. The place had scooters to rent too, which for Krabi is quite necessarily if you want to explore the surroundings.

Small place, nice pool area. Love the garden and plants around. The owners are very kind and easy with organising transport and trips in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious, all facilities available. Close to the beach and its nicer and more quiet than in Krabi town. Lots of restaurants and massage places on the beach.

A beautiful room with a cozy balcony, a wonderful sea view and good breakfasts served literally on the beach, including Thai-specific dishes. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is situated in a quiet beach area with many restaurants nearby, and a 7-Eleven supermarket is just a 5-minute walk away.
Hotel is in a great situation, there is a 7/11, restaurants and taxi services on the street. Overall aesthetic of the hotel is great and the room was spacious, clean, air conditioned and also had both en suite and a balcony. Staff were fantastic: friendly and welcoming.
This place is very basic. Everything is just so essential that it’s more of a camping than a resort. It’s suitable if you are a family with children or senior couple who wants to spend for no much money some days far from the crowds.
Easy to swim in the pool and walk to the beach, quiet location. Less busy and crowded as compared to Ao Nang. Long and beautiful bays in front and nearby. Making up the room every day. More foods options.
The beach is very mediocre with garbage out to the right of the hotel. Pool was adequate & breakfast was the highlight (very good food in general with great views).
