Great location with very friendly owner. Easy check in process. The room was spacious but the bathroom was a bit tight. Nice large common room with dining table, kitchen, and sofa.

We ordered takeout from CSA BRAVIA, the food was spoiled.

Turda Salt Mine is a great experience for families seeking both adventure and health benefits. As parents, we were initially drawn to the mine's history, but what amazed us was how much our child benefited from the unique environment. The salt-infused air worked well on their respiratory health, creating an unexpectedly positive impact that we hadn't anticipated.
By the way, if you are coming for a long time (10 – 14 days) do not forget to buy a season ticket [abonament] for it will save you money and will let to skip the long lines at the entrance.
Exploring the mine was like entering a magical underground world. The spacious chambers and the awe-inspiring underground lake kept our child's curiosity piqued throughout the visit. The mine's history came to life through informative displays, making it an educational experience as well.
What made our visit even more special were the various activities tailored to families.
We were impressed by the Turda Salt Mine's commitment to maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for visitors. The well-maintained facilities, clear signage, and friendly staff made our visit stress-free and enjoyable. The mine's unique combination of history, adventure, and health benefits truly set it apart.
As parents, witnessing the positive effects the salt mine had on our child's health was a true blessing. Turda is a lovely town, although currently undergoing major construction road works so difficult to navigate around in a car.
Cheile Turzii and Salina Turda are must do highlights of the area, both beautiful and definitely worth visiting.
If you only do hike in the canyon, you can manage to do both in one day.
The salt mine is really impressive.
Staff in Turda restaurants is very nice, not much English speaking but trying hard, even if they need to use Google translator.
Local food is delicious.

Nice city, cozy and calm. We visited Salina Turda and Turda Gorge, we also experienced the zipline and the kids were very very happy. There is a 24/7 supermarket. The center was I some construction works but still our stay was comfortable.

Turda is a small interesting city to visit. Anyhow the Turda Salt Mine is today a genuine history museum of Salt exploitation.The excellent condition of the mining compartments and the equipment used for salt transportation ,as well as the care with which the mine was prepared for touristic use,have turned it into a place of mingled history and legend.The ever higher number of tourists coming here from most various parts of the world to visit the mine are a confirmation of its historical and touristic value.
The Salt Mine is certainly the most famous destination for tourists visiting the town of Turda.
It’s a great location, very close to the entry in the Turda Salt mine and close to the vineyards. Close to a bus stop. The fact that the property is a mix with a restaurant, bungalows and horse stables with a nice pool and sauna.
We were staying in the Sol apartment- which communicates directly to the stables - you can actually se the horses from the window and you can walk out on a small balcony within the stables! The fact that the rooms and bungalows are air conditioned.
I will begin by saying that I was thankful that the proprietors called me a taxi to the bus stop to Cluj. I wish they told me that the bus wouldn't actually bring me to the airport, but rather 30 minutes from the airport. But I acknowledge that they are running a penzion, not a travel agency. It is an interesting property, with some fruit trees, dogs, cats, and a rooster that begins crowing at 3am. The breakfast was good; I especially enjoyed the garden-fresh tomatoes.
Pleasant, polite staff provided the room of our choice.
On the territory there was free parking, a summer terrace, a separate comfortable kitchen with everything you need.
The room is large, clean, comfortable. There is a mini fridge, towels, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV. The bed is large, the mattress and pillows are comfortable.
Particularly pleased with the affectionate Siamese cats at the hotel. I also want to note the magnificent view from the hotel.
I had an excellent experience for the purpose and duration of the visit, which made me particularly note the design of the property, the easy access to the central area of the city, the organized way of accessing the property and accessing the door key, the facilities provided and not last but not least, the kindness of the host. In the next 6 months I will travel to Turda and I would definitely like to come back to this host with pleasure.
The owners are the nicest people I ever met during any holiday,they can cook food if you ask and meals were very nice.Room was very comfortable, everything was high quality.Loved bar and swimming pool area.Location is close to Cluj Napoca but in quite beautiful village were you can hike, bike ride or enjoy walk.Thank you for great holiday 😊
The location is right across Salina Turda and the view is exceptional. We had a huge family room very clean with comfortable beds, 2 big bathrooms and lots of apace for kids to play. The breakfast was beyond expectations, serving delicious food made of natural local products (ham, cheese, home made bread). The staff is very friendly and warm.

- Place is really close to a couple of tourist attractions( 5 min walking distance to Salina Turda and 15 min to stables& horseback riding).

Good place in the centre of the town. Very clean and comfortable. I could recomend it. Only one small problem is, that you can´t order brekfast. I can say, that there is problem with breakfast in hotels, or restaurants in the centre of the Turda.

Brand new mini-hotel with high quality materials and furniture - very impressive! The hostess is a very nice person - explained everything, showed us several rooms to choose from. Beds are comfy with memory foam. Very quiet neighborhood.
The breakfast was very goood, and I liked the staff is very profesional. I was also impresed by the pool area. The locations is near by the town centre and Salina Turda. They have also a good restaurant on site.
Walking distance to the Turda Salt mine and downtown Turda, one can explore this hidden gem that is the vineyard Salin. Stunning view from atop the hills , and a great retreat for the weekend.
