The beautiful monastery, fortress and traditional village museum are definitely worth a visit. Suceava is the perfect starting point for visiting the stunning painted monasteries, several of which are just outside the town.

The important point about Suceava is as a centre for visiting the many attractions of the Bucovina, the surrounding area - in particular the painted monasteries; walking in the hills, woods and valleys; the handicrafts, the layout and architecture of the village houses; and the food of the region. But do not forget the Bucovina Village Museum and the Castle (Cetatea de Scaun) on the outskirts of Suceava itself.

The churches, monasteries and fort we're very interesting. Easy to get around on Uber. Everything excellent value for money. Perfect for a weekend break. Need Google translate for menus etc. Research beforehand worthwhile to choose excellent restaurants and coffee/cake places. Excellent hotel made the difference. Would be good to do another weekend break in Spring or Summer

Best place to say in Suceava. Host was very accommodating, location of apartment was almost prefect, close to center. When we could not get a taxi to the train station he reached out to several taxis and we could not find us one, he drove us to the train station. would stay with him a again. Very family orientated and location and everything was top notch.
We stayed in the apartment from April 21 to May 8. We did enjoy every moment of our stay. We did really appreciate the promptness of the response from the owner to a couple of requests for which we needed immediate actions, the cleanliness of the apartment and the quietness of the site...and no forgetting the remote controlled accessibility to the car parking. We will know know where to go if we have a new chance to stop by Suceava in the future.
Excellent hotel in Suceava! The room was sparkling clean and brand new, the breakfast was good and it was served in an atmospheric room (however, we payed for the breakfast additionally). Also, Catalin was so kind to meet me at the airport at a late time and bring me directly to the hotel with his car. The hotel left only positive emotions even though we stayed only 1 night :) The only thing, I didn't like the communication with the hotel staff.
The hotel is located conveniently in Scheia, which didn't take long to drive in in the morning, since it's not directly in the centre of Suceava, but still not far from there. The hotel has it's own restaurant, where breakfast was served promptly. We were there only from 12:00 a.m. till 9:00 a.m., so really not much else to comment on. But we came in at midnight, and the reception was open, and polite, and functioning, which was nice.
Our experience at this hotel was exceptional. It provided the ideal environment for our family to come together and spend some time. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, attending to our needs promptly and with genuine care. We were impressed by the level of attention and support they provided throughout our visit. Overall, we highly recommend this place!

Thank you so much for your patience. (Note: bring some cash and don't bring AMEX, DISCOVER.) They are next to useless in Romania. Get a prepaid sim immediately.
Excellent location. It's a bit of a walk but still within walking distance to Suceava Fortress and Bucovina Museum, and St. New John Monastery (Mănăstirea Sfântul Ioan cel Nou) is just around the corner. It's a hotel with all the hotel amenities, clean, good reception staff, up to expectation. All these for a very reasonable price. Great value.
The hotel was quite and clean, the room was comfortable. The reception ladies were very helpful. It was goog quality for the price. But for me that was the place to take a break between transport change, but not the sightseeing. The most convinient that it is close to the Bus Station (Traina Vuia).
Staff is friendly and the restaurant seems cozy. If you have to catch an early flight in the morning this place is great because you avoid all the morning traffic in your way to the airport.
Also, if you have small kids, there's a big playground nearby where they can play for quite some time.
I have been to many hotels and apartments, but I have never seen such good conditions anywhere. Very nice owner of the apartment, very caring. The apartment had everything you needed: from cutlery to tea and coffee. I would love to go back there again and again. I recommend!
I loved the attitude from the host. She was very kind and helpful! Also the apartment was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this apartment and definitely will consider this option if I decide to visit Suceava again!
