Big room and bathroom, decent beds and pillows, ample private parking, nice terraces around for dining, decent breakfast.
Apparently close to center (15 min walk), I didnt try it having booked only to rest while on a road trip. I guess i would book again, it is good quality and value.

Very nice hotel in the center of Romania. A very nice place to stay if you cross the country or Transalpina DN67C. Room was pretty large, bathroom was clean. Excellent on site restaurant, delicious food. Free and secured parking on site, for cars and motorcycles. The owners and staff were very nice and helpful. We will come back!
Housed in a historic building dating back to 1417, this hotel features an original vaulted wine cellar and a self-service restaurant. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in the entire hotel.

The location is in the center of town. The property is new and exceptionally clean and modern. There is a beautiful restaurant on site with a large terrace in the back of the property that is spacious and quiet. We didn’t have a car but there is onsite parking off the street with about 75 spaces and two spaces for EV charging.

This was our second stay at Hotel YVY. Once again, we were very pleased. The breakfast (included) was great with a good selection of items. The room was clean and air conditioner worked well. Lots of parking spaces with easy access off the autostrada. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good value and we will stay at Hotel YVY again.

Sebes is a pleasing blend of old and new.
The wood industry is the main employer and it is not without controversyy. There is a busy Green Party office in the centre.
On the positive side there is full employment which accentuates the underlying friendliness of a place I had visited before when times were not so easy.
On my first day I accidentally dropped a small piece of paper from my pocket while walking along the main street. This was spotted by a driver in slow-moving traffic who called out: 'sir you dropped something!'
The centre has some nice public buldings and churches and there is a very good restaurant called 'Crema Turm' where I ate twice and which is easy to spot.

Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you...
Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you need to spend time looking. Check out Mr Binders House and the birthplace of a guy named Carl Filtsch..he was a child prodigy of Chopin but died when he was only 14.
Around the corner is a list of local citizens sent off to the Romanian and Russian gulags..never to return.
And oddly enough if you are from Australia or from New Zealand there is a cafe in town that makes and sells Pavlova...
It is an appartment in a new building on the outskirts of Sebes. It is on the top floor in a corner, meaning little noise from neighbours. The appartment has a lot of equipment inside and a terrace. You get the key from a lock box next to the entrance to the building. There is a reserved parking space for you. The building is on the outskirts of Sebes, so in a quiet area. The internet worked fine. The owner was easy to get in touch with after the first day. He was apologetic for the issues mentioned earlier.
The property was easy to find and was well kept. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We stayed in July with temperatures in mid 90s F and even without AC the rooms were cool. We also liked the hot water on demand that the units have. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great for visitig Sebes on foot or access to restaurants, grocery, etc. For authentic romanian food check out the two restaurants in Petresti: Casa Simy and Casa Damian. Easy access to the highways also.
We booked this at the very last minute (we were 5 minutes away) and they were very accommodating. Location perfect if you are going from the train as we were.
The highlight was the staff they were so incredibly nice and helpful.
Also we were able to have drinks and a nice dinner, which made us happy to not have to leave the hotel for that after a long day

The apartment is a good sized property in the center of Sebes (5 minutes walking away from everything you would need, restaurants, shops, park etc.)
We enjoyed its cleanliness, the facilities and the interaction with the owner.
Inside parking comes as a bonus if you're travelling by car.
Excellent value for money.
A secluded but also welcoming oasis in otherwise sleepy Sebes. I recommend you to go there, if not for a over night stay so for a mejl at the restaurant. That, including the service, is the winning point of this hotel. Well cooked and not overpriced.
The room was great, quiet, large and comfy bed, they had bathrobes and slippers - hardly you can get lately in hotels, location in the center was also good -even if center it is under construction. Reception also was special, great people there.
Fantastic in every aspect! Gorgeous Kitchen fully equipped including wash machine:)
Bathroom immaculate with tub jets and shower curtains:)
Terrace another bonus with table, umbrella and 6 chairs, to take in the views around Sebes:)
The hotel is classy and has a amaizing old time charm.
The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly.
The meniu has a large variety of dishes competing to other restaurants. Great and tasty food.
we arrived the hotel very late and the owner waited us till she give the keys. I am grateful for that. the room was comfortabel. But the breakfast was not satisfying, I would like to expect at least some croissants..
Clean, comfortable room with nice big bathroom and great shower pressure, pretty close to city center. I highly recommend Da Vincenzo Pizzeria e Ristorante in Sebes! Excellent pizza.
The hotel is quite new, with modern furnishings. We had a triple room, which was perfect since we have 2 small kids.
The staff was very nice and friendly.
