We were there off-season, so the whole area was quiet (which was exactly what we were looking for).
The location is wonderful, close to the sea and it's a nice touch to wake up in the morning looking at the sea from your bed.

Costinesti is a small sea side village full of young tourists, especially teenagers. It has a lot of restaurants/terraces/fast-food/ clubs facilities. Also here it is the biggest dance & night club in open air from the East side of Europe, Mega Discoteca Tineretului. Getting around Costinesti is very easy by walking on the main walking street, but quite difficult to find a parking place, especially in the height season.

The beach is biased towards paid lounge rentals, so the free zone is quite a small 20% of the total and it gets VERY crowded. Also the beach is not well maintained and quite dirty: empty plastic bottle, empty beer and soda cans, cigarette buts, used napkins, you get the picture ...
If you like the night life there is more than plenty entertainment for all ages and tastes, but if you are an "early to bed, early to rise" type, rent a room as far as possible from the main promenade and "Tineretului" night club. The music is extremely loud and the DJs and MCs are using and abusing their microphones until early dawn (4 - 5am and is still noisy)

Very dirty and the urban or better said rural development is disgusting. I could do a top of the ugliest buildings ever seen in my life.

It's a really cute place to go to with friends and have a nice time. The beaches are clean, there are plenty of places to eat and drink and have some fun. It's not very expensive either. It's not a very big area, but there are many shops and restaurants, bars, even some discos.
Overall, I would gladly come back here.

RO: O statiune aglomerata care are tot ce iti doresti la un loc. Plimbarea pe lac, seara, poate fi o experienta romantica. Preturile la autoservire sunt demne de restaurant, iar mancarea in general nu ne-a impresionat. Sezlongurile erau 35 lei in weekend, dar se gaseste suficient loc si pentru prosop.
EN: A busy area that has everything you could want in one place. A boat trip on the lake in the evening could be romantic. The prices at the self-service canteens match the ones in restaurants and the food isn't special. Sunbeds cost 35 lei at the weekend, but there is plenty of room on the beach if you prefer to lay on a towel.
Great place to stay.The view from.balcony was amazing 😍 with the ship rec from Costinești.The host where very welcoming and friendly. The garden of the hotel well kept. Nice facilities around the hotel, a shop with everything you need on the door step, Also there was a Great coffee place with one of the best coffeefrapes just outside the hotel..Hotel clean , met all our needs. beach just a minute away from the hotel. situated in a quite place but not far off from all the restaurants and shops in Costinești We will definitely come back .
The hotel is really close to the beach, and everything else, including the train station if you plan to go see other resorts. Nice rooms with a big bathroom. If you have a room on first floor, you get a view toward the beach but don't see it because of the trees- next time we may ask for an upper floor, maybe there is a better view. We really enjoyed the balcony we had. The only complain we had was that there were three different music sounds at night: 2 clubs and the hotel's own until 4-5 am.
The hotel is just amazing, the location is perfect as it is very close to the sea, you can hear the waves from the room.
The rooms are very spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. We had a balcony from where we could see the sea and the sunrise which was amazing.
The breakfast had a lot of options - both sweet and savory and the fact that they have a terrace facing the sea where you can eat made it perfect.
Personnel very nice so all in all i highly recommend this hotel.
The room was very clean and large, with bright windows. Spacious bathroom with a shower and hot water, even late at night.
We had a fan in the room, but we didn't use it as the temperature was pleasant enough when we stayed there.
There's a shared kitchen you can use if you want, with the usual helpful appliances, cutlery and dishes.
The fridge is nice, bigger than what you'll find at many hotels.
The hosts are really nice and helpful, at any hour of the day.
We like in special the location of the hotel because is very close of everything ( beach, restaurants, clubs, train, supermarkets). The room was clean and comfortable with an air conditioner which was absolutely needed because of the hot weather. The room has also a mini bar which have sweets, cold drinks and even alcoholic drinks and snacks. Everything brand new and a nice staff ready to help you with anything.
The Hotel is newly build, the staff very well trained and customer oriented, something you dont find in Romania very often - gratulation to the Restaurant Manager - he made a good job!
The facilities around the Hotel are still under construction, swimming pool, parking area - will take some more weeks till all is done.
For the time, it is for sure the best Hotel I have seen so far in this area.
The view is great. The staff more than awesome, the onwer offered to take us from the train station when we arrived and when we left. One of the few places with good music from the resort. Good signal wifi in the room. Very friendly staff and helpful. If you are looking for good, friendly, mannered people this is the place to be in Costinesti.
This accommodation is very close to Costinesti main road / amusement park. 5 minutes to main road and 10 minutes walking distance to beach. Rooms are big, with good beds and private bathroom. You can enjoy a clean and quite room or if you want to spend some time in the garden there are some tables outside. Hosts are nice people.
The hotel has several pools with plenty of fun for children. Has parking with camera (not really needed in Costinesti according to our experience but nice to have). Quite close to the beach like 300m. Comfy bed, good AC and balcony with sea view. Small fridge is there too.
Hostel is located few steps away from the beach. If you have a room with sea view you can see the sunrise :)

Big plus is that the hotel had a parking. I also enjoyed the balcony and air conditioning. Additionally, wifi connection was good. Lastly, the girl from the reception was sweet and kind.
I very much appreciated the fact that even if it was a 2 star hotel, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. I also liked the patio with the little kitchen and a garden.
Close enough to the "center" of Costinești. Shops nearby if you forget anything. Lovely staff, very helpful. Free coffee :) Comfortable beds, TV in room and on suite bathroom.
