We enjoyed to be in the farm type environment. The view and surroundings were great. You really experience to be around with the animals and witness country live. The staff was great and very friendly.

Casa Terena is located in the old part of Terena. Our room was very quiet with views over the surrounding countryside. Super comfortable beds and well appointed en suite shower room, plenty of hot water. Excellent, delicious,very generous breakfast. Our host Altino was very cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 3 nights and wished that we could have stayed much longer. Definitely the place to stay to discover the real Alentejo. Wonderful swimming pool and garden situated about 150m away from the property

Wow, what a gem of a hotel. This is a truly spectacular property that exceeded even our high expectations. The staff and service were fantastic and the place gives you an immediate sense of calm. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. What we also appreciated was that the food, drinks and activities were not overpriced, so you left feeling like you were not taken advantage of, which can be the case for a lot of high end hotels. The food was delicious and in beautiful settings.
