A super location, good beaches, the sea front fish restaurants are overpriced, but quality is good , look further back from the seafront for more reasonable pricing. Go see the castle, excellent views, go to Setubal and Cabo Espichel. Wine farms nearby too.

This is an amazing town with clear water beaches. You can find restaurants with great fresh fish. Sometimes it can be a bit windy though. It is close to Lisbon so you can do other things if the weather is under.

Excellent in every aspect. Breakfast and dinner beyond expectation. Frontdesk and other personnel very well trained and sympathetic. Worth spending several days there. Fabio, from the lounge and his young team até happy to prepare your favourite drinks.
Outside and very near there is a small restaurant that is specialized in fish food and shells. Also, worth a visit.

Sesimbra is a sympathetic village by the ocean. It is beautifully situated and has golden yellow beaches Virtually no international mass tourism and I like that. In and around the village many good restaurants and a visit to the castle is definitely worthwhile. If you come by car there are plenty of excursion possibilities.

It is s beautiful place, there is not many international tourists, it's mostly local tourists, the beach is amazing. There is a lot to see both nature wise and museums. It's definitely not a party city, but the people are so friendly and the service is great 🥰
Perfect location. Spectacular view. Very well equipped for a short OR long stay. Antonio is a very welcoming host, quick to respond to questions, and really cares that guests enjoy the visit. Sesimbra is a magical place, especially in the off-season when the beaches are quieter. We loved hiking to the castle and Arrabida park, wandering the town, very good restaurants, and daily beach walks. Street parking is easy.

It was just ok., totally a disaster, so many stairs up and down, no help with luggage at all.
This Hotel is NOT for older people, towels were scare in the rooms, bath tub is an accident to happen no mat and very splipery. Again NOT appropriate for the older generation. A total disaster. To me was a sock. I was there 50 years ago, nothing changed. Mold on the tile in the bathroom. Two stars is to much 🙃
This was the nicest place I stayed at this time in Portugal, modern, stylish but understated, scrupulously clean, bright and airy. The host was super nice and very attentive to requests and inquiries. Breakfast was very wholesome, tasty and with genuinely regional produce. Because the property is gated, there's no problem with parking.
I would love to come back and spend more time there.
We recomend to rent garage space if you come by car. It's cheaper and more secure than leaving it outside.
The staff is the kindest. Their effort to make us feel good is remarkable. We needed to change to a quieter room and that was provided. We do notice many young people starting to work in this hotel. They still need to learn but they are on a good path. We support them.
The location overlooks the sesimbra area so it is quieter than being in the heart of town. Parking can be had on the street, or for a fee in a nearby garage.
Carlos was fantastic. He helped with everything from parking to finding a place to eat and wash clothes, told us the secret way to get to the beach, and acted more like a friend than a landlord
A great apartment in the centre of Sesimbra. A stone's throw away from the beach, in the heart of the town yet not noisy. Great views from open window/Juliet balcony.
Safe private parking for a small car underneath was a great plus. Communication with staff was excellent and immediately responsive, especially when I locked the keys in the apartment!
We absolutely loved our stay - hosts were so friendly and super helpful sending us a WhatsApp video as to how to enter the property and find our room when checking in after hours. Breakfast was just wonderful, parking was very easy and only 10/15 mins drive to Sesimbra and some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve visited in Portugal. Thank you!
Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was fine, the bed was comfortable. We liked our spacious balcony with pool view. Parking our rental car was very easy. If you have a car the hotel is well located for exploring the area around Sesimbra incl. the Serra da Arrabida. There are some restaurants for locals within 5 to 10 min driving.
The room was spacious with big and comfy bed. Free soft drinks in fridge. Nice view from balcony.. Breakfast was very good even hot food was hot, not always the case.. The hotel is quite a way from beach down a steep hill, but there is a free shuttle car available so should not be a problem. Plenty of free parking.

Great place, just 2 minutes from the beach. Everything is close by. Very clean, spacious, comfortable. The owner made us a cake and left us a bottle of nice wine to welcome us. One of the best apartments on booking that I've been in. Exceptional!
The Hotel´s location is in fact amazing aswell as the view,breathtaking; The staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the area with the tiles pretending that we are underwater was beautiful.
It was so quiet and peaceful during my stay, the host was very friendly and welcoming. Couple of minutes walk to a great local coffee shop and transport links into Sesimbra or Lisbon. I would definitely stay here again!!
I loved stay at Vila do Sol. It is a little butic hotel with very friendly and warm owner. Best place to relax and enjoy live next to the pool in the quiet spot of Sasimbra village.
Room was very nice and very clean. Jade welcomed us very nicely. Area is nice and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Sesimbra. There is plenty parking space at the front.
