The host, Adelaide, met us outside the apartment when we arrived. She is super nice and sweet and she gave us a tour of the apartment. The apartment is very spacious with a little nice outdoor area at the back. The clean is spotless and very clean.

Breakfast was not included but goodies, fruit, coffee, pastries were offered and available. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming and offered a quick tour of the town. Apartment was very efficiently designed with excellent use of minimal space. Beautifully appointed.

The place is absolutely stunning and perfect for families. Lots of things to do for the little ones and also many options for the adults to relax. I loved that there are not too many rules about how to use the space, so kids were fairly free to play and enjoy. As an example, you can actually swim in the natural pool with the frogs, you can take your food and enjoy it on the deck.... The star view from the bed in the dome is amazing!

I didn't have a car so I depended on public transport which was economic and handy to go to visit other towns nearby.

If you are interested in history and things other than beaches, this area is surprisingly full of excellent places to visit, and virtually empty of the usual crowds. The Roman ruins are some of the best in Portugal. Also just 2 hours south of Lisbon airport, so very convenient stop on way to Algrave.

Great location, wonderful and professional staff. Attention to detail in rooms and restaurant. Amazing location on a hilltop overlooking Santiago do Caçem. Wonderful breakfasts and dinner choices. Great bed and linens, overall exceptional stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. We felt welcomed and well taken cared for. We hope to be back soon and also try the other Octant properties throughout Portugal. You can’t go wrong here!
The farm is very close to Sines and Santiago do cacém. meaning there are a lot of services like supermarkets and restaurants nearby
The pool is huge!
There is a nice gym and a games room with pool tables
Spacious room with a balcony and a large bed. The water pressure in faucets and the shower is very good

The hotel is in an amazing place surrunded by nature and lot of peace to rest and relax. It's also a good place for kids with very nice places to play with them. Staff is very kind and attentious. Country Pizza bar is also very nice to drink something near the pool and enjoy their lovely snacks, pizzas, etc. Hope I can go back some day :)
Ana & Mario were great hosts and went out of their way to meet all our needs and make our stay excellent. Their home was immaculate and the location was the most peaceful and quiet we have enjoyed in Portugal with an amazing view of the valley and city of Santiago do Cacem. We would definitely come again.
Second time in the hotel. Staff is wonderful, always looking to help you. The hotel is pet friendly and our dog enjoyed the clean bed they have prepared for her.
To return again maybe in springtime when nature will be green. Amazing sunsets from the rooftop of the main building!
Great location, easy access to Sines and the beaches, and a short drive from Santiago do Cacém that has lots of good cafes and restaurants. House was clean, compact and well equipped. It is ideal as a base for a small family to explore the area.
Location and views. Free parking. Breakfast buffet is good. Fresh honey from the hive a plus. A good stop on the way to the south or north of Portugal. As a hotel good but if you are going for the culinary aspects promoted DO NOT! see below.
Exceptional. An old traditional house turned into a hotel. You wouldn't guess from the outside the gem that is behind the walls. Staff super friendly, a feeling of "home" created by the fact you're in an actual house.
Our group started the Rota Vicentina from Santiago da Cacem & this excellent & comfortable hotel was very close to the start of the Historical trail. Good value & comfort with helpful staff.
It was very well decorated; the bedroom was spacious; the TV had many channels; the location overall was pretty, and it was quite close to Santiago do Cacém; the host was very friendly.
